Ch. 9: The Lobby

Leone slashed at Eagle with amazing strength, and both beys flew out of the stadium in a huge clash. It was a tie. Both bladers stared at each other in shock, for the force of the collision was enough to say that they were completely on par with each other.

"Amazing!" Amber ran up to Leon to congratulate him. Starlight followed and said, "That was truly amazing." But Tsubasa went over, picked up his bey as well as Leon's beyblade, and went over to return it. "How would you like to come with me to the WBBA? I'm sure Gingka would like to see your power," he invited. "The, Gingka? As in, Gingka Hagane, the worlds strongest blader?" Amber asked, shocked. "Uhh, yeah?" Tsubasa shrugged, resetting Eagle in its case. "Why not, then?" Ryuto jumped down from his perch, and went over to Tsubasa. "Yeah! We're going to see Gingka!" Amber celebrated. "Come on, then, guys!" Tsubasa set off towards the WBBA main tower. Leon stared after the rest, thinking. What if I run into Kyoya?

"Ok, then. Once you get in the lobby, follow me, and don't stray. We have some weird workers here." Tsubasa warned as they walked in the building. "Yeah, OK, but where's Gingka?" Amber asked, peering around the main entryway. "Not here, obviously." Leon grumped, following after Tsubasa, who had walked into the lobby. "Hello, Tsubasa Ootori, with four guests checking in." Tsubasa stated, pulling out an ID to show the registration lady, whose name was Karen. "Yes, you are free to pass, but give these to the visitors." Karen handed him four visitor badges, and clicked a button that opened a side door. "Goodbye, then." He beckoned the others to follow after he gave them the visitor's badges. "Ahh! Mr. Ootori! How nice to see you again!" An older teenage boy was walking out of the door; with him was a younger girl, about 6. "Hello, James, and yes, nice to see you. I see you have Mari-Jane with you today?" "Yes, my little sister had a day off of school, so I brought her to work with me, as she wouldn't stop bugging me about the fact that I work with Gingka, she's a huge fan!" "I see, but I have to go, these four," Tsubasa nodded towards Starlight and the rest, "May be our newest members."Ok, bye then, Mr. Ootori." "Later." James and Mari-Jane left, and Tsubasa led the bladers to a new area around the back, a 639-story staircase, with a broken elevator. "Wow!" Ryuto gasped, craning his neck to see the top. "That's, a lot of steps." Leon commented. "Yeah, good luck with it, first timers usually quit around floor 300 or so." Tsubasa laughed, "But I'm sure we can make it!"
