The sun was starting to set. The weather was also cooling down a bit too. I starting to get comfortable in my chair until i hear the front door open. I hope thats not jack. I hear 2 other people come in. It was probably some of jacks friends, when my parents go on occasinal short buisness trips, jack invites a ton of people from school over, and its really embarrsing because none of them are my friends. They always trash the house, and im the one who always has to pick up the mess. I decided to stay in my room, hopefully none of jacks friends or jack would come in my room. But ive had a crush on jacks friend, his name is mark, hes seems to be the nicer guy of the group. Jack and his whole possey are really falling behind in school, all they do is party, and its at MY house and they are making noise, while im trying to read, or watch soap opereas. I kinda wish i had a friend that would have my same interests, not like everyone else who just wants to screw off in life.

"Cary" i hear jack from downstairs. I looked in the mirror, i just ignored him, sometimes i hate my long, blonde hair, its so ugly to me, it makes me look like everyone else and i wish i could just stand out. I heard footsteps come upstairs. I heard a knock on the door, all of the sudden it opened, it was jack and his friends. "Theyre gone for the weekend, you can come downstairs, but only for water" jack walked away and scoffed, great another fucking party. I sat down in my chair and looked out the window, it was now dark, the moon was only a sliver tonight. I see something in the corner of my eye, again, a  UHAUL truck heading down the street? someone must be moving in to that old house. I was curious because no one had been in that house that i knew of, i just heard rumors that it was haunted, and a murder took place there. I didnt believe that nonsense. I wanted to call my mom, but she was probably busy, and she would probably call me soon anyways. I wish my mom& stepdad would be home, but of course they are gone for the weekend for the 2nd time this month.

I really wanted to go see who was moving into that house? Ah, what the hell i never go outside. so thats what i did. I saw some cars pull into my drive way, i knew it was jacks friends, and who knows who else.. I slipped on my shoes, and put on a hoodie, it was a little chilly, I grabbed my cellphone and i walked downstairs trying not to draw any attention to myself. I tried to avoid the kids as best as i could, but it didnt work this time, "hey" i hear a familar voice, mark? why would he wanna talk to me? a freshman. "uh, hi?" i looked at him with an awkard face. "Im mark, your brothers friend" i kept staring at him. There was a small pause, "yeah i know". "see ya later" i walked off. I dont know why i did that, i probably came off as rude, I get that a lot though. I saw some more kids pull into the driveway, i just kept walking and i felt them stare at me, "hey is that jacks stepsister? shes growing up" i heard a guy, he probably didnt realize his mouth was so big. A lot of the boys at my school tell me that im pretty, but i really dont believe it.

I was trying to remember where that old house was, i havent been outside in so long. I felt a little lost, but yet i knew how to get back home, so that was good. The street lights seemed a little more dim than i remember. I see the UHAUL truck from earlier, and it was infront of the old house, that was believed to be haunted. There was a car parked next to the UHAUL truck, it was a smaller red car. I started to recall the girl i saw on the skateboard, she seemed to be riding in the same direction as the UHAUL truck. I got closer to the house. I see the same girl from earlier, it looks like shes sitting on the patio of the house, and she had a book in her hand, it seemed like she was drawing. She didnt see me, i tried to hide behind a tall bush. She seemed really interesting, i mean nobody in this town hasnt had pink hair, and if they did, i probably dont know them. This town is so small, everyone knows everyone. You pretty much see the same people everyday. This girl must have just moved in. I mean ive never seen a girl skating like she did. My stepdad has a skateboard, but its just a longboard, i tried to ride it one afternoon, and i ended up falling.
