The first thing I heard when I woke up was Jack frustratedly screaming at someone. "Dude, just do it already!" he pleaded. Since I was awake, I decided to check my phone, so I could see the time. It was currently 10AM. Why the hell would Jack, out of all people, be up at this hour pleading someone to do something? I was intrigued, to say the least, and I planned on discovering what he was pleading for. I was now determined, and not even my laziness or unicorn onesie would stop me from finding out what had Jack in such a distressed state.
"Yeah, we have been waiting for two months now!" Jonah announced. My curiosity only grew, because of this comment. What could they have possibly been expecting to happen, during the past two months?
"Exactly, man! Why can't you just asked her to-" Daniel's voice trailed off, when they heard my steps, approaching the kitchen.
"Ask who what?" I questioned curiously. The boys were all staring at each other, like the answer they were looking for was written on each other's faces.
I was starting to grow impatient, when Zach suddenly spoke up, "I- uh- I'm debating whether I should ask a girl out or not." He was rubbing the back of his neck, while looking around at the others, nervously. Nice try, but I'm not that naive. If they're not going to tell me, I might as well mess with them a little bit.
"Oh, really?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. He could only nod in response. "What's her name?" I questioned and smirked. Zach went pale, more than he already is.
"Janette!" yelled Jack. "Her name is Janette," he restated calmly.
"Wow, what a pretty name! And where does she live?" I held back a laugh and made my way over to the counter, pouring myself a cup for coffee.
"Oh, she is good!" Daniel said, his voice almost a whisper, but with silence like this it's hard to not hear things. I grinned and took a sip from my mug, savoring the bitter taste.
"Could you get me one, since you are already there?" Jonah requested.
"You have two working legs and hands. Use them," I told him. "Wait, where are my manners?" I mused out loud and chuckled. I observed the boys' expression change into confusion and sweetly said, "Good morning, boys!"
"Mornin'," Jonah said groggily as he moved me out of the way so he could get to his coffee.
"Good morning, (Y/N/N)!" Zach said childishly. I swear that kid has way too much energy in his little body.
