After their breathing had calmed Ian pulled back to look at her face. “Will you let me take you to dinner tonight?”

She watched his face as a bubble of laughter crawled up her throat. “We did this all backwards. Yes, I’d like that. I need someone to show me around.” After the mind blowing, mid-morning, stranger sex they just had in his place of business, he was asking her on a date. Part of her was very glad that he wasn’t content to let this be it, but it all seemed a little surreal.

His smile was instant and dazzling. He gingerly set her on her feet and helped her to redress before clothing himself.

“I need to open up the shop again but I can leave here at five and pick you up around six?”

“Six sounds good.” She tried to remain as cool and collected as he appeared to be but excitement was surging. She hadn’t been here long but she was lonely. She was so used to going out and doing things with people that her time here had really been heavy on her. “Make sure you sanitize that table.” She teased.

“Of course,” He huffed a laugh and bit his bottom lip. “I’ll never be able to work at it without thinking of you though.”

Smooth talker. She loved how freely he laughed. She wished more people found joy so easily. It was at odds with the vein of aggressiveness he had while he was fucking her. The two sides of Ian left her intrigued. She couldn’t wait to get to know him a little better.

They exchanged numbers and he walked her to the front door, placing a chaste kiss on her lips.

“I’ll see you at six then.” She smiled at him through her lashes.

“Be hungry.” He patted her on the ass as she walked away. “And horny.” He yelled when she was out on the sidewalk and laughed when her head snapped from side to side in embarrassment.

“You’ll pay for that.” She shot the promise back at him with a wink.

He flipped the sign to open and blew her a playful kiss.

As Hannah wound her way back to the bus stop she debated on texting Jenny about how shitty the day started and how wonderful it was going now. If anyone would appreciate her middle of the day romp with a sexy stranger, her friend would.

She decided against it though because she wanted to soak this up and not overthink it too much before she got the actual date.

The bus ride back home was thankfully a lot less eventful than the mornings. She was even able to get further in her book without incident.

Once home she scouted out another audition she could hit in a few days. There had to be something out there just waiting for her. She was a damn good dancer and she knew it.

By the time she sat in her living room ready for her date with Ian, Hannah had began to question her sanity. She had had quick, dirty sex with a man she didn't know and then gave him her number and address.

The sex was good though. Great even.

He seemed genuine and safe enough but her experience in the city so far had left her lacking trust in other people's intentions toward her. She turned down a job because the man wanted a blow job, but then turned around and fucked a man from the bus.

Just as she had decided to text and cancel the date there was a knock at her door.

He was a little early.

She opened the door hesitantly and Ian stood on the other side giving her one of his brilliant smiles. Even though seconds ago she was ready to ditch him, she now wanted to kiss those tilted lips. Memories of those lips on her skin flashed through her mind.
