Selene p.o.v

I can't believe this is happening. I'm going to against the guy that  I thought my mother killed.

I looked at the training field with warriors training with all the royalties.

The children, pregnant women along with the elders have been sent to the Safe place that all the queens along with myself have created.

The warrior's face was filled with determination. I saw my mate training along with his and  Savannah's biological brothers. He looked up and sent a smile towards my way which I returned.

Looking at all of this have set a fire inside of me. I have to do this for the better future for everyone I thought while putting a hand on my stomach. I have to kill that son of the bin for trying to bring destruction to my kingdom. Not on my Reign.

Savannah's p.o.v

Six hours till dawn

I was training with my pack with the others. The witches were practising spells along with some weapons such as a gun with wolfsbane and silver, matches laced with Ricin.

The demons, angels and the dark angels were flying. The vampires were training with the wolves. Derek getting scolded by Androsia. Androsia didn't want to go to the Safe place. Every one of us was trying to convince her but she didn't listen.
She is going to stay in the Castle with Rebecca and Joane who were also pregnant.

Cole was with my mate whose expression was stoic since the announcement we got along with a horrifying note

I was trying to control Diablo and Lucifa since the moment I saw the warrior that delivered the note carry the news about some delayed pack members who were coming to the Castle was killed by his rouges, decapitated head with their heart ripped out. Females and males have lost their mate, packs have lost loyal pack members. What was crueller was that the warriors have bought in some pups who looked devastated and traumatized. The looks on their still are still fresh in my memory. 

I went over to Cole and my mate.
I knew that words won't cheer him up because of what we witnessed back in the castle, sometimes silence is what we need to clear out mind so I hugged him. I felt his tense shoulders relax. He hugged me back while taking a huge sniff of my scent.

"I know we would win Rose but I want to hear it from you", he asked. 

"We will win, we will defeat them and get justice for everyone who has sacrificed their lives to that demon", I reassured him. If only  I can kill him with my own bare hands.

Damons P.O.V

It is now my turn to give my battle speech to encourage our warriors. "I don't really know what to say as there is gonna be a battle. All comes down to today, what we worked so hard for, where we are gonna fight the darkness. When you feel like you are going to give up think of those who have lost their lives to this monster, think of how our pups gonna live, think of how you want your family to live. This day we will write the fate for everyone, every single one of us. We will fight till our last breath, we will WIN today. WE WILL WRECK HAVOC THEM, BRING HELL TO THEM! WE WILL BRING JUSTICE TO WHOEVER DIED IN HIS HANDS!"( sorry guys I don't really know how to give a speech, I'm awkward when it comes to that and I know this is cringe. ) I was fuming by the end. I felt savannahs hand on mine which relaxed me. 

I looked at my mate who had a smile on her face but I know she is not smiling inside. I don't want her to be part of the war but she is one stubborn woman who didn't listen to my words. If I die in this battle I want her to know that she is the best mate in this world to me. I know we had our up and downs but what is a relationship without these.
