I Tried To Show My Love Yet You Pushed Me Away.
Seungcheol was holding a bouquet of flowers and a chocolate to give it to his girlfriend, he was clutching it as if he was ready to fight. He was nervous.
While walking he decided to call his loved one to make sure she's home.
"Hyejin?"
"Seungcheol?"
Her voice was making him calm. He wished to hear it everyday but busy schedules have to be a wall to their relationship.
"Hey, Hyejin. W-where are you r-right now?"
Seungcheol heard her chuckle as he was biting his lower lip.
"I can tell you're nervous. I'm here in our room, I was about to go to sleep. Where are you?"
"Don't sleep yet! I'm almost there."
"Okay, I'll wait. You should hurry up, I'll be waiting in the living room."
"Okay. Bye, Hyejin." Seungcheol smiled widely.
"Bye, Cheollie~"
The call ended and Seungcheol shoved his phone in his pocket, biting his lip nervously he hurriedly went to their house and knocked on the door, now hiding his flowers and chocolate for Hyejin. After awhile of knocking on the door, the door opened to see his girlfriend, Hyejin.
"Seungcheol!" Hyejin hugged Seungcheol tightly, Seungcheol was about to wrap his arms around Hyejin's waist but soon felt disappointed when Hyejin pulled away.
Seungcheol was frowning at the thought of Hyejin's actions lately. Hyejin was his everything, how she smiled, laughed, acted. She wasn't the type of girl to talk about useless things and cut off her boyfriend's words. Hyejin was the understanding and loving girlfriend that Seungcheol always wanted. Hyejin would always make Seungcheol's day just by showing up to their practice room. He felt special, loved, and lucky. But lately Hyejin has been acting weird, she didn't have time to text or call him. He tried to make time with her, to spend time with her yet he wasted it by waiting outside the park where they always go.
What happened to them?"I want to give you something since Valentines Day is coming soon." Seungcheol nervously said.
"Really? What is it?" Her eyes lit up making Seungcheol melt unable to stop looking in her eyes.
"Seungcheol?" Hyejin poked Seungcheol's cheek and snapped her fingers infront of Seungcheol's face until he came back to his senses.
"Huh?" Hyejin laughed.
"You were about to give me something. What is it?" She smiled at him yet he knew it was fake. He gave the bouquet of flowers to Hyejin and the chocolate.
"Here." Hyejin gasped surprised at Seungcheol's present.
"Thank you, Seungcheol." She said and hugged Seungcheol. Seungcheol wrapped his hands around Hyejin and buried his face on Hyejin's neck.
"I'm sorry, Seungcheol." Hyejin thought and held her tears that was about to fall.
They pulled away from the sweet yet hurtful hug and went inside the house. Hyejin opened the chocolate and small pieces was all over the aluminum foil while some of it was melted.
"What happened to the chocolate?" Seungcheol chuckled nervously.
"I was holding it tightly because I was nervous, maybe I held it to tightly."
"I'll eat this tomorrow." Hyejin said and placed the chocolate on the freezer and closed it. Hyejin held the flowers and smelled it, smiling.
"It smells nice."
"I'm glad you like it. It's your favourite flowers." Hyejin nodded.
"So, how was practice?"
"It was tiring yet fun. Booseoksoon was their usual self as always."
"As expected. How about the comeback?"
"Just a few more stuff and were done. Why?"
"I'm just excited. Anyways, you should sleep, you have a lot of schedules tomorrow."
"Okay."
Seungcheol sighed. Is this really the Hyejin he once had by his side? She wasn't as hyped up like the past. She never smiled sweetly. Yeah she smiled but that smile only shows a fake one.
What will happened to them in the future?
