Hyejin placed her hands inside the pocket of her hoodie as she roamed around the streets of Seoul, enjoying her little adventure.
It was getting dark and the sky showed different shades of pink, orange and blue. And the little amount of cars passing by as the wind blew colder and colder.
After visiting the places that she missed and wanted to see, she decided to eat ramen as her dinner, it might not be healthy but it's her only choice.
She entered a small store, taking the cup of ramen and paying for it. She ate the ramen outside the store and enjoyed the quiet sounds that surrounded her.
While eating she saw thirteen boys entered the store but one caught Hyejin's attention. Hyejin finds him familiar just looking at the side of his face, even if all of them are wearing mask. But Hyejin shrugged the thought and continued on her food.
After one bite she realized, she didn't bought a water, with an annoyed groan she stood up and entered the store and grabbed a water.
She lined up and waited for her turn to pay. The line wasn't that long but it was slow, since the cashier was shocked to who she was seeing. What's so lucky with the thirteen boys Hyejin saw anyways?
At last the last person finally payed with a cup of coffee in hand. The guy was unaware of his surroundings. He turned around causing the coffee to hit Hyejin's shoulder and spilled onto Hyejin's hoodie. Everyone gasped, especially Hyejin who dropped the water bottle on the floor.
"I'm so sorry, miss!" The voice was so familiar to Hyejin but was too busy with the coffee stain. The guy panicked as he grabbed a handful of tissue and tried to wipe the stain.
"It's okay.. You don't need to wipe it.." Hyejin took off her hoodie, revealing a sleeveless shirt.
"H-Hyejin?" The familiar guy said again while he slowly took off his mask.
"Seungcheol?" Hyejin was shocked as she slowly wrapped her hoodie around her waist. "I-I'm sorry..." Hyejin apologized while bowing at him.
"No! No! No! You don't need to apologise. I-I should be the one. I'm sorry!" Seungcheol stuttered, bowing at Hyejin.
"So you came back?" Seungkwan scoffed walking infront of Hyejin.
"Seungkwan!" The others scolded him, yet Seungkwan only crossed his arms while glaring at Hyejin.
"What brings you here, Ms. Park?" Seungkwan asked.
"Look, I didn't came here to fight." Hyejin said.
"Tsk, You're so weak." Seungkwan chuckled bitterly. Hyejin clenched her fists.
"Our leader got hurt because of you. And you came here acting like nothing happened? You're so weak, Hyejin. You're still the same. Just like your parents."
"Excuse me?! I know what I did was wrong but you can't involve my parents on your complaints." Hyejin gritted her teeth.
"Hyejin, that's enough." Hoshi stepped between Hyejin and Seungkwan's argument, while Seungcheol held Hyejin's arm. Hyejin looked at Hoshi sadly feeling betrayed.
"I can tell, all of you really hate me even if Seungkwan started this argument." Hyejin coldly said and looked at Seungcheol.
"I think Seungkwan will be disappointed if you're on my side." And with that Hyejin yanked her arm off of Seungcheol's grip and left the store.
"Gosh.. She's so mean." Seungkwan scoffed making Seungcheol roll his eyes.
"Yeah, because you started it. Let's go." Seungcheol roughly said before all of them followed him to leave.
----
Hyejin was walking home, hands on her pockets, while she was biting her bottom lip to prevent the tears from falling.
It was really dark that the sky turned into a dark black color that looked like a sad empty void, but stars are now visible, making everything look shiny. Hyejin sighed as she quickly went home and quickly went to her room.
"Hyejin? What happened?" She didn't even let her mother finish her sentence, she just went straight to her room.
Her father sighed before he fixed his glasses and stood up and said,"I'll go talk to her." Her mother cracked a small smile while she nodded her head worriedly and continued doing the dishes that was left on the sink.
Hyejin's father went upstairs and knocked on Hyejin's door softly, with a worried look on his face.
"Hyejin?" No reply. He knocked once more and called her name and repeat the same process, yet, Hyejin didn't reply. Her father sighed once more and said,"If you wish to have some space for today, I'll leave but at least take a bath before going to bed." He heard Hyejin sigh and shuffling of blankets. The father smiled knowing he made Hyejin do something at least.
"Thanks dad," Hyejin sarcastically said and her father chuckled.
"Love you too sweetie. I'll take my leave." Her father said before leaving.
Hyejin got off of her bed and made her way to the bathroom with her clothes.
What can make things even more horrible tomorrow?
