Chapter 3: The hall with the wallpapers

Guys this chapter was suppose to be updated last Saturday but I couldn't because of lack of inspiration. I'll try to update every weekend if I can. Anyway let's gat back to the story.

Author's POV

Rose pulled the book from the library and suddenly a tunnel appeared in the middle of the wall. Everyone's jaws opened. They couldn't believe their eyes.

"What the......" Travis finally said something breaking the silence.

"H- how is this even possible?" Astoria asked very surprised.

"I..... I don't know" Rose answer Astoria's question.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's see were this pass leads" Hawk said and ran to the mystery pass but unfortunately Astoria caught him with her hear before he could go through it.

"Hawk we can't just go there, it could be dangerous and we need a plan." She said.

"But we have never been worried about danger before!" He fought back.

"But we should!" Astoria was starting to get really mad.

"No, I agree with Hawk. We should explore it. Beside, it seems like a great challenge and I love challenges." Lingling said.

"Actually we can't" Rose said and finally joined the conversation.

"Why not?" Lingling asked.

"For two reasons. Firstly, it totally creaps me out! And secondly, in few minutes my granny is going to come and check us and if she doesn't find us in bed, she will freak out  and probably call all our grandparents and they probably they won't let us have another sleepover again!" Rose said and she was kinda freaking out.

"Guys Rose is right, we can't risk it." Joy said agreeing with Rose because she was as terrified as Rose was.

"I have an idea! We will pretend to be asleep and when Headmistress Cinderella leaves we will sneek in and see where that thing leads." Astoria said and everybody agreed with her.

"Speaking of which, I hear footsteps" Travis said

"Quick Rose put the book back to the shelf and everybody to bed, now!" Astoria demanded.

Everybody nodded and did what they were suppose to do and everything went back to normal. When H.Cinderella came into the room she saw everyone asleep.

"Good, they are sleeping. Goodnight children" she said and she slowly closed the door so she won't wake them up. Little did she know that they weren't asleep in the first place.

"Phew, that was close" Joy said.

"You could say that again. Rose would you mind opening the path now please?" Astroria asked.

Rose pulled the book and once more the path opened. She fist looked at the path and then at her friends. She took a deep breath and then said.

"Since we are doing this, we are going to need these." Rose said and she took some flashlights from her bedside table and gave them to her friends.

"Everybody ready?" Hawk asked.

Hawk's POV

"Everybody ready?" I asked.

"Maybe" Rose answered. I can tell that she is afraid. Honestly, I can't blame her, this things don't happen every day.

"If you are scared, it's OK. You can stick with me if you like." Did I just say that? I can feel my checks heat up. Rose nodded and ran closer to me. Then we all looked at each other and we went into the path.

~Time skipped ~

"It feels like we have been walking for hours." Rose complained.

"Actually Rose it's only 10 minutes." Astoria told her.

"At list we can admire the beautiful symbols on the walls." Travis said.

"If you notice them closer, you can see our familys symbols." Lingling said.

"Guys, what's that?" Joy asked pointing a little light in the distance.

"It looks like some sort of light" Travis said.

"But......there is no light in here except the one from our flashlights." Rose said more worried than usual.

"Then something must be reflecting our light." Lingling said looking at the distance.

Rose is still with me and by the look on her face and the fact that she is squishing my arm (no, they are not holding hands, sorry).  I can say that she is terrified. Although we have to keep up.

"We need to check it out" I said and moved forward along with the others.

After a while we arrived at a dark room and we split up. As we were looking around, I heard a scream from behind.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" I quickly terned my head and I saw Rose running towards me. She hided behind me and she was shivering from fear. I couldn't help but blush. Hawk snap out of this! This not the write time!

"Rose, what happened?" I asked her worried.

"Granny......... creepy......... picture......... wall" Were the only things she could say. I looked at her confused.

"I think we need some light. Fairy tale of my dream, fire brackets make the sine" Astoria said and with her power, she fired the torches in the walls.

Immediately we all gasped. We saw a lot of wallpapers in the walls, with 7 people its. In one of them people were dancing and in an other people were mixing potion. We came closer to the one who had a pitcher of our grandparents.

"Our......grandparents?!" Joy asked surprised.

"It says something here : ' The first ones ' odd." Astoria said and we continued walking and admiring the wallpapers. The most interesting one for me was the one with our magical items. Fore my surprise, Rose was as interested in that one as me and she wasn't afraid anymore. Maybe she was just afraid of darkness.

"G- guys....look!" Rose pointed at the last wallpaper. In this one they were 2 boys and  5 girls. They were wearing dark clothes and they had an emotionless expression on their faces.

"The lords of .... Darkness????!!!!!" I read the title and I was as confused as the others.

"Guys, there is a bookshelf with only one book there!" Lingling said pointing at a small shelf at the wall with a lot of dust and only one book on it.

Astoria ran to the shelf and grabbed the book but as soon as she read the title she became pale like she just saw a ghost and her eyes wild opened.

"So what does it say Astoria?" Rose asked worried about her friend.

"The history of the 7 great fairytale familys" Astoria said and we all looked at each other. We couldn't believe our ears.

And here it is guys. This is the longer from the three, 1126 words! Oh my... Just to inform you, the next chapters won't have a lot of hase in them but this that will be used in the future and they also have now relationships. I hope you liked this chapter! Later!!
