Mikey's POV

Ryan looked at me, huge concern in his eyes, and sighed, "how do you feel?"

"A bit sore, what the fuck happened?"

Turned out, Ryan didn't remember either, he'd been as clueless as me when he'd woken up. Luckily though, someone had helped us to the hospital, and had seen the whole thing.

"Okay, what's happened?" a doctor asked as Rye stumbled into the hospital with Mikey in his arms.

Ryan mumbled something incoherent as the guy walking in with them spoke up, "they were both in a fight... this one hit his head," he pointed at Mikey.

"Do you know how it happened?"

He shook his head, "I just saw then fighting with some guy, he punched him and he fell back and whacked his head on the wall..."

"How hard?" he asked, getting Mikey into a wheelchair.

"Hard enough to knock him out, but if his mate's anything to go by, he was pretty drunk."

"I'm sorry," I said softly once he'd explained.

He shook his head, "it's not your fault."

I grabbed his hand, "I love you, y'know? More than anything."

"I love you too, Mike, even more than that."

I smiled as the doctor came in, smiling when he noticed I was awake, "good morning! How are you feeling today?"

"Confused and hungover," I nodded slowly.

He nodded, "once the hangover passes, we'll need to ask you some questions. For now, is there anything we can get you?"

I shook my head, "no thanks, I'm not really an eater when I'm hungover."

"Any drinks?"

"Oh, something fizzy please?"

He nodded and left, and I looked at Rye, "I wanna know why we were fighting..."

"You were unconscious when we came in here, Doc told me before that they took both our bloods and you were a lot more sober than I was so you might remember bits of what happened..."

"Yeah?" I raised a brow.

Ryan nodded, "obviously it's not a definite, but yeah."

I nodded slowly and the doctor came back in with a few bottles of fizzy drinks.

"Thanks, Doc," I smiled, "appreciate it."
