Picture perfect memories scattered all around the floor. Reaching for the phone cause I can't fight it anymore.

A knock came to my door and I looked up as Scott entered my room. My gaze wandered from his disappointed face, to the pictures of Derek and I that were in my hand.

"Listen Sti," Scott sat next to me. "Just call him. You're driving yourself mad."

I shook my head. "I'm gonna get over him." I sighed. "I promise."

Scott wrapped his arm around my shoulders, giving them a tight squeeze as I admired the picture in my hands, it was my favorite.

Derek has his broad arms wrapped around me from behind, and we're both laughing. Isaac had snuck it at a pack meeting.

A tear fell onto the picture, and I looked to Scott. "When does it get easier?"

He shrugged. "I don't know man."

I threw the pictures, them scattering all around my floor. I ran my hands over my face, lying down on my bed to block the image of Derek out of my mind.

"He misses you bro." Scott sighed. "He's falling apart."

I stayed silent, because so was I.

And I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time.

It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone, and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call, but I've lost all control and I need you now.

I sat up all night, thinking about him. I missed him. His moles, his sarcasm, his beautiful whiskey eyes, hearing his blue Jeep rattle to the outside of my window, and the little "look outside" texts he would send as he excitedly stood on the hood to get my attention.

I reached for my phone, about to hit call on Stiles' contact, but stopped. He probably hates me, and he's probably asleep. I sighed, and locked my phone again, dropping my elbows to my knees and my head down.

I can't stand it anymore. I missed him, and he probably wants nothing to do with me.

And I don't know how I can do without. I just need you now.

Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door. Wishin' you'd come sweeping in the way you did before.

(Flashback)

"Oh sooooooourwoooooolllfff!!" Stiles sang, entering the room with his backpack on his shoulder. "I'm back from hell!"

I laughed, meeting him halfway and wrapping my arms around his waist. "How was school baby?"

He sighed. "Boring." He rested his head on my chest. "Harris is still a douche rocket."

I laughed at his word choice. "Douche rocket?"

He scoffed. "Let me be angry and we can discuss my phrasing later."

"Okay." I chuckled, placing a kiss to his head as he hummed.

"I missed you."

"Only a few more months and you'll graduate," I placed a kiss to his lips. "And then we can start our lives together."

He smiled. "Can't wait."

And I wonder if I ever cross your mind, for me it happens all the time.

It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now. Said I wouldn't call but I've lost all control and I need you now.

"Stiles." Boyd's voice rang through the phone.

"Boyd?" I asked, looking at the clock that read a quarter after one. "It's 1:15 what could you possibly need?"

He sighed. "I hate to bother you but I need you to come and help me with Derek."

My heart sped up at the sound of his name, and I sat up. "What's wrong with him?"

"He's wasted."

I sighed, and ran my hand through my hair. "He's not my responsibility anymore."

Boyd sighed. "You're the one he told me to call, so that's what I did." He said something to Derek that I couldn't make out. "Please? He won't listen to me."

I sighed. "I'm on my way."

A total of ten minutes later, I sat outside of Derek's loft in my usual spot, resting my head on the steering wheel and looking into his bedroom window. A knock on my car window snapped me out of my trance, and I looked to see Boyd outside the window.

"Thank you for coming." He said as I opened my door. "He's upstairs."

I followed Boyd up the stairs, to see Derek holding a picture frame in his hands. He looked up, and I could see tears in his eyes. "Boyd, where'd you find a guy that looks like Stiles?"

"It is Stiles."

Derek shook his head. "That's not Stiles. He hates me, he'd never come."

I took a step forward. "It's me."

Derek looked from the picture back to me, and it was the same picture I was holding earlier. I took it from his hands, and he looked up at me. "We were so happy."

Boys cleared his throat. "I'll leave you two alone." He walked out of the loft, closing the door behind him as I sighed.

"Let's get you to bed Derek." I took his arm, and felt my fingers tingle from the touch of his skin. He looked at my hand, and then back to me.

"Did you feel that?"

I paused. "No."

His face fell, and I felt a ping in my chest. "Let's get you to bed."

I got Derek settled into bed, and I pulled the covers over him before starting towards the door.

"Wait."

I turned around to see his big green puppy dog eyes. "Stay."

I sighed. "I can't."

"Why?"

Because I still love you. "I'm tired too Derek. You're not my responsibility anymore."

"Just." He paused. "Please."

I walked to the edge of his bed, and sat down as he smiled at me. "What have you gotten yourself into Derek?"

He shrugged. "I missed you."

I missed you too. "Mhm."

"You hate me."

I sighed. "I don't hate you Derek."

"Yes you do." He pouted. "I can tell."

I scratched the back of my neck. "I don't hate you Derek! Okay?!" I said a little louder than I meant to. "I don't."

He looked up at me. "Good. Because I love you."

I felt my heart ache. "Get some sleep Derek."

"Aren't you gonna say you love me too?"

I dropped my head. "Not tonight."

His eyes lit up. "But maybe some other time?"

I chuckled. "We'll see."

Derek cuddled up with his blanket, and fell asleep within seconds. I smiled, and walked towards the door. I sighed, reaching for the handle. I stopped, halfway through the door, and looked back at him. "I love you too."
