We were so automatic

But now I'm reminiscing

Falling through the cracks

disgusting. revolting. the thought that we were ever friends, possibly more than friends, is absolutely horrifying because look at him. i decide to blame it on my eight year-old stupidity. 

"don't call me that." i spat at him. he laughed. 

"woah, lulu, are you tryna to be tough or something, because you literally look like a squirrel."

i storm off angrily to my next class. "who is he to call me a squirrel. i look nothing like jisung."

slamming my bag down onto the shared desk in our science lab, i forget that we have a lot of our classes together. felix walks into the classroom, and people start pushing their friends out of their seats so that he could come over. he smiles at all of them, and walks in my direction.

"what is your problem?" i hiss at him as he sits next to me. "there's literally 5 other open seats you can sit at. so go sit." 

"lulu, relax. shes going to assign lab partners today anyways." he said calmly, tipping his seat back so far it was going to fall over. 

the teacher walked in while he was trying to stretch from our desk to the edge of the other one, blocking anyone from going that way, while also looking like a complete idiot. 

"welcome to the new semester! because the other teacher is gone for maternity leave, i'll be taking over for now until she comes back next semester. you can call me ms. kito." 

"... and since it is the beginning of a new semester, i'm going to be giving you your new lab partners. let's begin!"

well, as long as it isn't him, i'm fine with anyone as my partner.

"felix, since you're new, is there anyone you know that you would like to be partners with?"

"yeah, i want luna to be my partner!"
