I swear I've been crying for hours now. I'm so tired and sick of mom and dad treating me like crap. UGH!
So this is me. Carly Wood; the girl that almost never steps foot beyond her street. First of all that's because of my evil parents. I found out I was adopted when I was 11. (best time to find out right?) The conversation went a little like this:
"Carly, why are you so pathetic.", Mom yelled just a bit too loud
"I don't know....maybe because you raised me since forever."
"LITTLE GIRL! You don't know a thing", I tried to leave but Dad grabbed my arm as he spoke.
"What do you mean by that?"
Mom and Dad went awfully quiet. Then they spoke the dreaded words in a monotone with a straight face."Carly you're adopted." I mean what the heck! Anyway I just stormed to my room and haven't spoken to them since and only come out of my room to retrieve my food and even then I bring it upstairs. So yeah, I'm adopted, whatever, doesn't really change life. I still hate my parents. I still am forced to live next door to school. I still only have 1 friend who I haven't seen for a month. I basically live grounded.
I live in the smallest town ever: Riverbridge, Vermont. Dad makes us live right next to the middle school I'm on the roster at because he wants to murder my social life. Not that I will ever have one anyway. I mean, I have one friend....1. Ashley, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't know my last name; hers is like William or something. I swear no one likes me and I have no future.
