Nick's pov:

I'm glad that we're all finally in one house. I watch as everyone comes in. I feel better with us all together. I'm just glad we weren't the ones who had to make the journey.

" hey nick long time no see." Jah says while patting my shoulder lightly.

" yeah." I agree giving him a warm smile.

" well how much food you guys got left?" He asks me.

" we're just about out. We were hoping you guys would have some." I answer him.

" we have about enough for just one more meal." Jah informs me.

" well it looks like some of us are going to have to go out to get more food." Gazzy says joining in on our conversation.

" yeah but who?" I ask knowing no one wants to go back out there.

" well not any of us because we were just out there." Jah informs while referring to everyone that came from Stoke's place. I really don't want to be one of the people who have to go. I'll just have to convince the others to go.

" Nick maybe you should go." Gazzy suggests.

" why me? why not you?" I retort back.

" because I can't go I have to keep everything in order here." Gazzy quickly comes up with.

" I can do that." I inform him. Before Gazzy could respond Jahseh cuts in.

" guys at least 4 people should go and let's go talk to the others about it before this argument escalates any further." Jahseh suggests.

Jahseh then calls for everyone to meet in the living room. I'm worried to see how this is going to turn out.

" alright everyone so we kinda have ran out of food and need some volunteers to go get more." Jah informs everyone. Yet everyone stays silent.

" anyone?" Jah questions in a hopeful tone.
No one responds though.

" well then we're just going to have to pick names randomly." Jah informs.

" what do you mean?" Kentrell asks.

" well I have an app that can decide who will go." Jah informs him. I was hoping to just hide in the crowd during this discussion but now I can't exactly do that.

" alright so the first person who is going is kentrell." Jah informs.

" wait what this isn't fair." Kentrell complains.

" it's completely fair so shut your whiny ass up." Taymor yells at him. I can't lie I'd probably say the same thing Kentrell said just cause I have no want in my body to go out there and commit suicide.  

" ok second person is Omar." Jah informs.

" you sure that apps working right Jah? Omar asks.

" yeah I'm sure." Jah's informs while slightly chuckling.

" ahh damn." Omar sighs.

" ok then 3rd is Taymor." Jah informs.

" you sure we need this many people?" Taymor questions. I can't blame any of them for trying to get out of this. I just hope I'm not the last one picked.

" well it's a good number because we need a driver, a look out, and two people to get the food." Jah informs causing Taymor to sigh in defeat. Alright just one more person. Please don't let it be me.

" and lastly Nick." Jah says giving me a concerned look. He knew I really didn't want to go. All I could do is stare in shock. Why did it have to be me?

" alright well then let's get going." Omar announces. I'm surprised he got over having to go so quickly. I'm still terrified.

" alright well who's driving?" Kentrell asks.

" I am." Omar informs.

" hey wait doesn't being the driver mean you don't have to get out?" Taymor asks.

" yup that's why I'm driving." Omar informs.

" no I'm driving." Taymor argues. I'm not even going to try to enter this fight because I know I'll lose.

" hold up I'm driving." Kentrell joins in.

" you didn't even want to drive till 5 seconds ago." Omar reminds him.

" yeah well I changed my mind." Kentrell informs.

" Jah." I yell.

" what?" I hear him ask from the living room.

" come hear." I instruct him.

" what you need?" He asks coming into view.

" we need to use your app thingy again." I inform him.

" for what?" He asks.

" we can't decide who's driving." I inform him.
Jah then enters the app and spins a wheel thing and it lands on Omar. I kinda wish it would of landed on me but that would probably just make everyone here hate me.

" alright Omar's driving." Jah informs.
