You were currently walking up Mt. Silver. Why? To see your friend Red of course! But you were scared... Why? Because it's been years since you've seen him and your scared he forgot about you.
You've known Red for as long as you can remember. Unfortunately, Red was born with the inability to speak. Despite that, he opened up to you once you moved to Pallet town next door. You two were best friends and you both started your journeys together. However as your journey continued, Red became distant and left you behind in the dust, getting stronger without you. You were so sad and lonely. You often found yourself crying in an open field.
You had to find out why he left you. Thankfully, people around Kanto were saying that he lives on Mt. Silver endlessly training. You're surprised he hasn't died from frost bite.
You luckily went on the journey prepared, since you currently were riding your Arcanine to the top. He didn't mind at all since he's a fire type! And it kept you warm so that was a bonus.
You eventually made it to the top and you found Red in the worst condition possible. His raven black hair was now almost gray due to the snow stuck to it and his hands were turning blue.
"RED, WHY THE HECK ARE YOU HERE?!"
No reply like always. He just turned his head and stared at you as if you were crazy.
"YOUR GOING TO FREEZE IF YOU STAY HERE!"
All of a sudden, Red's Pikachu And Charizard appeared and stood by you, as if they were on your side about getting Red off of the freezing mountain.
"Can't you see we're worried about you Red?!"
Red suddenly stared at you with regret in his crimson red eyes. He than did something unexpected. He hugged you. He had tears in his eyes and he was on the verge of crying. You hugged him back and gently stroked his hair.
"Shhh. It's ok. I may not have known why you left me,but it doesn't matter....I can tell you missed me..."
He then released you from the hug and kissed you. You smiled and kissed back. Once you two broke the kiss, you held hands and joined your Pokémon on the journey down the mountain to go home. One thing you know for sure is that Red will never forget you. Not now. Not ever.
