Joey's POV~

I nervously fiddle with my hand. I normally smoke alone or under supervision of my friend Lazuli, I call her Laz for short.

Tom turns on the TV to a game show that was kinda boring. We take hits back and forth till the bowl is burnt out. Then I remembered why I smoke alone or under supervision is because if I even slightly like someone I get flirty and all "touchy feely" if I'm aloud to go far enough.

Normally I would flirt around with Laz and she just would brush off her shoulder, make sure nothing goes to far, i hope, and make sure I dont get in to too much trouble. But I'm scared if it happens with Tom I could lose the only friend I have in this town that's not Laz.

Due to being high that thought goes out the fucking window. Tom mindlessly laughs at the boring game show currently on the TV. As I just stare off it space.

Tom's POV~

i chuckle at the TV for, i don't even know why. I turn my head to see Joey just staring off into space.

I admire how he looks in the moment. He hadn't actually taken his sweater off like I expected him too when I asked him to make himself at home. His hair was cut all the way around but left alone at the top, it wasn't very long it was kinda like mine but his hair was a lot more poofy and fluffy. His hair was pin straight accept for in the front of his part there was a very small curl that fell lightly on his forehead

"Hey you okay buddy??"

Joey turns his head and mutters something real quick under his breath.

"What did you s-" I get cut off by Joey grabbing my face and kissing me. I could feel my face heating up by the second, and so was his. Joey's eyes were screwed shut. I relax and lightly set my hands on his waist, closing my eyes , and lightly leaning into the kiss. His lips were so soft and smooth, till he pulled away...

My hands were now off him. Joey's face was bright red and almost steaming. But I'm not 100% sure it was from blushing.

"Are you-" I get cut off again.

"I-i'm sorry! I'm s-so sorry! i-i didn't m-mean-" I grab the hem of his sweater and pull him into great big hug.

"Hey hey hey, its okay. This isn't the first time this has happened. But...it's also the first time this happened."

Normally when something like this would happen i would either kick them out of my house or get mad. but...i actually kinda like this guy. I cant just do what i would normally do with a good friend of mine. And this sounds so fucking crazy because i only just met him today.

Joey sits and looks at me, tears forming in his eyes.

"S-so you're not mad at me??" I shake my head no. Joey backs away all nervous like, sitting back against the couch.

"Look, we can talk about what just happened later tonight if u want, okay?" Joey nods

"do u want my number? Messenger? Instagram? or Snap?" Joey asks nervously 

I chuckle.  "All of it's fine for me I have all of it anyways." 

We swap internet info with each other. Joey stays for a bit longer, I give him a house tour and I show him the kind of tricks Navi does. We didn't have dinner because the thought of eating must have slipped our minds. 

9:00 rolls around and Joeys decides its time to head home, So we say our awkward goodbyes.

"So how far away do you live from here?" I ask 

"actually i only live a floor up from here." Joey chuckles nervously.

"Oh my god really?!" I was so surprised. This dude really only lived one floor above me?? Why hadn't i run into him sooner then?

me and Joey laugh about it. I tell him he can come over anytime, he tells me i can do the same, and he heads out of my apartment. 

(this chapter honestly took a bit but not as long as the second chapter. i hope yall enjoyed this chapter. the next chpter will be mostly just Tom and Joey talking back and forth on their phones late at night. See yall in the next chapter!!")
