Alison in the Country of Diamonds (Fan-Fiction)

Chapter 6

      The carriage ride back was fun, the twins play a few games and they would jump up and down every now and then to try and make the carriage bounce.  After about ten minutes we were at Hatter Mansion  again.

      "Brian, I will meet you in your office after I get changed." I said as he opened the door.

      "Okay see you soon." He said with a smirk which made me uneasy but i just smiled back and then we headed to our rooms.

      When I got back to my room Brandon was there. He was sitting on my windowsill looking outside. Then all of a sudden he looked straight at me.

      "Hey...um...why are you in my room?" I asked.

      "Well nice to see you too and I stopped by to say hi but you weren't here." He said. "I wanted to give this to you too." He handed me something wrapped up in a silky cloth. As I unwrapped it my eyes started to widen.

      "Why in the world are you giving me a gun?" I asked whispering and freaking out at the same time.

      "You need it to protect your self from certain people."

      "OK, but st-" I started.

      "I need to go."

      "Wait I still have one more question that has nothing to do with guns."

      "Yes"

      "Would you like to come for dinner tomorrow?" I asked.

      "Sure see ya."

      Once he left I got changed and headed for Brian's office. On the way there i must have made a wrong turn an ended up in a strange bedroom I've never been in before.

      "There are so many books I don't think reading one will hurt me." I said to myself. So I when over to the book shelf, grabbed a book, and sat down on the bed. I started to read but I was unaware that this was Brian's room and that he just got out of the shower.

      "What are you doing in here...um...sorry no buddy really comes in my room." He said nervously as he was quickly getting dressed.

      "OH, this is your room sorry maybe I should leave." I said as I was putting the book away and heading for the door but, he grabbed my arm and pulled me back to him so hard that we landed on the floor.

      "Are you alright, Alison?"

      "Yeah you." I said because I landed on top.

      "Yep, sorry i didn't mean to pull you that hard. I was wanting to ask you if you wanted to read together." He said. "I guess you don't want to now."

      "It might be fun to read the book I just started together." I said rolling off of him and getting up.

      "Go ahead and grab it I can get up on my own." He said getting up and sitting on the bed.

      "Here you go." I said handing him the book, getting up on the bed, and sitting beside him.

      "Hmmm Jack and the Beanstalk nice chioce." He said smiling.

      "Once upon a time." We read together. All of a sudden everything started to get muffly and my head fell onto his shoulder.

      "Alison...Alison wake up." He said as he shook me.

      "Y...Yes Brian." I said as I leaned up.

      "You fell asleep, you must be really tired, I'll take you to your room OK." He said picking me up and carrying me all the way to my room and put me into my bed.

      "Night." I said.

      "Good Night." He said.
