Chapter 5

     The next morning, was very peaceful until Adan showed up and said. "The Queen has invited everyone in Hatter Mansion to her Royal Ball. Alison, the Queen wants you to meet her in the thrown room. OH and by the way the ball is tonight." Then he started heading out the gates. When he was gone Brian and Edward came outside to see what Adan came for so I told them what he told me and Brian didn't look to happy.

     After an hour the house was buzzing with excitement for the ball especially when the carriage arrived. Everyone piled in except Brian.

     "I will be coming a little later, Twins look after, Alison." He said like he wasn't coming at all.

       "Yes Mr.Brian." He twins said in unison.

       "Brian, why aren't you coming with us." I said.

      "I'm just a little busy right now. I will come later...promise." He said like he was hiding something from me.

     "What aren't you telling me, BRIAN?" I asked starting to get angry. "WHY ARE YOU HIDING THINGS FROM ME?" I yelled about to cry.

     "Alison, I might be hiding things from you but...um...come to my office later now is not the right time to talk about this." He said.

    "Why did I even bother to ask...fine I will stop by your office later."I said. "Bye."

    When we got to the palace I froze as I got out of the carriage.

    "Everything is so beautiful here...umm guys...guys where are you. GREAT left behind. looks like I have to wait for, Brian." I said and about an hour or two later Brian showed up.

     "Alison, why are you out here? You should be at the ball not out here." He said.

     "Yes that's right you should be at the ball." A woman's voice said from be hind me.

     "H...hi! Are you Queen Valarie?" I asked.

     "Yes and you must be Alison, Preston and Adan have told me many nice things about you." She said.

      "Yes your Highness that's me. Sor-"

      "Please go enjoy the ball." She said interrupting me.

      "I will come on Brian." I said dragging him behind me.

     As soon as we got into the ball room Brian asked me to dance with him. When I said yes he grabbed my hand and my waste and pulled me in really close and we started dancing. During the rest of the song I kept switching partners. It went from Brian to Edward to Dee to Dum to Adan to Preston and it kept repeating until the music stopped which meant the Ball was over.

       "Hello, Alison, nice to see you again." Said a man's voice from behind me.

       "Hi Julius nice to see you too." I said.

       "Well I got to go, hope I can see you again soon, bye."

       "Bye."

       "Alison it's time to go." Brian said grabbing my shoulder.

       "But...nevermind wherer are we going?" I asked.

      "Hatter Mansion! Meet me in my office once we get back after you get changed and be careful who you talk to around here."

      "OK." I said.

     Then we went outside and got into the carriage and where haeding back home
