Oh snowy expanse, hear me cry
Alight my soul with gentle flakes,
Ease the burn and soothe the drought
Bury me deep in icy embrace
Frigid god of death, white queen of the void
Hear my pain and smother it with love
Envelop me into a cold oblivion,
For I can bear my sins no longer
Wash the blood from what I lost and stole-
Drown my soul in ivory virtue
And wash me anew from what I have seen
As a witness to death, I am broken
Massacre upon these lands have no cause
My heart bleeds and begs no more
But where the snowfall caresses and soothes,
Numbing the aches of a life so cautious,
So too, do these demons follow
With screaming whispers of pain eternal
And cardinal memories of what I am
Where amidst these inky demons may I find solace?
An icy casket may call me by name,
Perhaps the snow may blanket my pain,
And so too may the goddess abide,
As my heart yearns for a softer reside,
But my hands, agents of my watchful eye
Are forever etched in blood,
And my mind will abide no lie
