Anyway......
ASHTON:
"Okay, yeah. Okay, I get it, get your usual! Yes, Y/F/N. Okay, shut up! I'll be back!" You said, walking into your favorite bakery. Your friend just HAD to make sure you got exactly what she wanted because she was too lazy to walk to the counter and get herself a cupcake. Not that she didn't get the same thing every time you come here, you know.
You walked up to the counter and ordered Y/F/N and your cupcakes. You got the cupcakes and turned to walk back to your table, but bumped into someone and spilt the cupcakes on your shirt.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" The guy you bumped into said.
"It's fine, it's fine!" You said, leaning down to pick up and discard the cupcakes.
"Here, I got you some napkins." The guy said again. You took them and started to clean the icing off of your shirt. "I am honestly so sorry." He said again.
"I already told you, it's fine!" You said looking at him. "But you owe me one." You joked. "What's your name by the way?"
"Oh, it's Ashton. And you?" Ashton asked.
"Y/N." and that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
LUKE: (4 years old)
It's your first day of kindergarten and you're scared.
"I'm not gonna have any friends, Mommy! I don't wanna go!" You whined as you walked in the building with her.
"Sweetie, you're gonna make new friends!" She said walking up to your classroom door. "Now, this is your classroom. Do you want to go in and have fun with the other students?" She asked, and you reluctantly nodded.
You both walked in, you not letting go of your mom's hand. You teacher walked up to you, and knelt down to your level.
"Hi! You must be Y/N!" She asked, and you nodded. "Well, were gonna have so much fun this year! Do you want me to show you where your seat is?" You nodded again and let go of your mom's hand.
"Bye mommy!" You said hugging her legs, then following your teacher to your table. You sat down next to a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. Ew, you thought, boys have cooties. You sat next to him for about 10 minutes waiting for other students to show up. He was drawing the whole time and didn't talk at all.
"Hi, I'm Luke!" He said finally. You were silent, making him frown. "What's your name?" He asked.
"Y/N." you told him, and he wrote something down on the piece of paper. You looked around the classroom for a few seconds before Luke tapped you again. You looked at him and he handed you the paper.
"I drew this for you. I like you!" He said, and you looked at the paper.
It had a red butterfly drawn on it, matching the one on your shirt. At the bottom it said: 'To: Y/N from: Lukey' poorly written, as you were just in kindergarten.
"I like you too!" You smiled at him.
"Wanna be best friends?" He asked, holding his pinky out as if you were promising to be friends. You linked you pinkies together and said
"Best friends."
CALUM: (13 years old)
You arrived about 15 minutes early to your best friend's birthday party. She just had to have a dance at the swim club you were both members of. And she invited your whole class, that meant one thing: awkwardness. The school year had just started and you didn't know anyone, due to you being new at the school and only knowing Y/F/N.
More people stated to arrive and soon, the whole grade was dancing around to the music, while you sat in the corner, a cup of soda in your hand. The music was too loud and you needed a break. You walked out the big room and walked out to the covered deck that was near the pool. You pulled out your phone and saw that it was only 7:30, the party didn't end until 10:00. Great.
You looked out at the pool, the lights in it making the water look amazing. The rain pouring down making your mood slightly better. You love when it rains.
"Hey, what are you doing out here? The party's inside!" Someone said behind you, making you jump.
"Oh my god, you scared me!" You said. He laughed.
"Sorry. I'm Calum, by the way." He said sitting next to you.
"I'm Y/N." you said.
"So, you never answered my question." He said.
"Oh, um. Well, Y/F/N is hanging out with her other friends, and I don't know anyone here. It's just not that fun not knowing anyone." You told him.
"That's not true. You know me now." He said.
"Yeah, but I don't feel like going back in there. Not now. The music is giving me a headache." You confessed.
"Well, we can't have someone not having fun at a party. C'mon, let's dance by the pool." He said, getting his phone out.
"It's raining!" You laughed out.
"Who cares?! Lets go!" He put on Therapy by All Time Low and pulled you out into the rain.
"Calum!" You laughed, but continued to slow dance to the music with him, his hand on your waist as you leaned your head on his chest.
You two were best friends from that day on.
MICHAEL:
You were walking backstage at a 5SOS concert with your best friend trying to find a bathroom. You loved that you got the backstage passes, but you wish you knew where you were going!
"Y/N! I think it might be that way!" She said. You both made your way down a hall, you walking backwards to talk to her.
"I swear if we don't find it soon, I'll- woah!" You said, falling backwards as you bumped into someone. Your friend's eyes widened. You quickly got up and held a hand out for the person you knocked into.
"I am so sorry-" You paused looking at him. "Michael. Oh my god, I'm an idiot!" He grabbed your hand and got up.
"It's cool...." He trailed off.
"Oh, Y/N." you said shaking his hand.
"Well, nice to meet you Y/N." he smiled.
"Hey, do you happen to know where a bathroom is?" Your friend asked Michael.
"Oh, yeah. It's just down the hall. There's a sign, you can't miss it." He said.
"Okay, thanks Michael!" You said turning to head to the bathroom.
"Hey, wait! I, um, I seemed to have lost my number, can I have yours instead?" He asked, making you laugh, and gladly gave him your number.
