You Don't Need Her (Albert x Female!Reader)

(A/N): If some you guys are wondering, this will be after Albert and Lana break up (sad hours). I hope you readers enjoy!

Albert was in his room, silently crying to himself. He broke up with Lana since they got into an argument. What was the topic that they fought about, well, you. The reason why they, mostly Lana, argued about you was because of how you hung out with Albert more than she did, which made her jealous.

●Flashback to before the argument●

Lana just came home after doing some clothes shopping. She unlocked the door to their house and opened it, then she went inside, putting the few bags of clothes down next to the door.

"Albert, I'm back!"

She closed the door, locked it again, then picked her bags back up and went to her room. After she entered her room, she put down her bags next to her wardrobe, then she went to go check on Albert in his room. She knocked on his door a couple of times.

"Come in!"

Lana entered the room, seeing Albert sitting on his bed, while on his phone, texting a certain person that she doesn't like him talking to, (Y/N).

"Um, Albert, is that (Y/N) you're texting? You know that she's just using you, right?"

Albert looked up from his phone, looking taken aback by what Lana said about you.

"Yea, it's (Y/N), and why do you hate her so much? What did she ever do to you?"

Lana scoffed, then suddenly, she snatched Albert's phone away from him.

"HEY, GIVE THAT BACK!"

She quickly ran from his room, with Albert chasing after her, then into her own. She quickly locked the door before Albert could get in. He started screaming and banging on the door, demanding her that she should give his phone back to him before he breaks the door down. She didn't listen, instead, she looked through his messages, seeing the texts exchanged between you and Albert.

(Y/N): Hey, can I come over today at your house? :)

Albert: Sure! What time would you like to come over?

(Y/N): Hmmmm.. maybe 6?

Albert: Sounds good to me! See ya when you get here!

Lana was fuming with anger. She unlocked the door to her room, and immediately Albert comes rushing in, grabbing his phone from Lana's hand.

"So you were planning to invite (Y/N) over, does that mean you don't want to be with me anymore?"

"NO! It doesn't mean anything! We were just going to hang out as friends!"

Lana avoided everything that Albert said, then gave him one final glare.

"If you're planning to be with (Y/N) other than me, then I'm leaving!"

Lana stormed to her room, packed all of her belongings, then left. Albert was still standing there, looking at Lana exit the door of the now lonely home. He felt tears start running down his face. He ran to his room and slammed his door shut.

●Flashback end●

Albert's P.O.V.

After awhile of taking in on what happened, the doorbell rang.

Oh shit, I forgot (Y/N) was coming over!

I wiped my tears away with my shirt.

"I-I'm coming!"

I got out of my room and went towards the front door. I opened the door to be presented with (Y/N) with a cute (F/C) dress on and (S/F/C) dress shoes on. I lightly blushed at what she was wearing, then I told her to come in.

(Y/N) P.O.V.

I was let in into the house. I noticed that when I saw a better look at Albert, his eyes looked puffy, like if he was crying.

"Albert, were you... crying?"

His eyes widened when I said that, then I noticed tears were coming out of his eyes. He ended up crying, saying how his relationship with Lana ended. I tried to comfort him by hugging him, to which he hugged back tightly.

"Why did you guys break up? You guys were a great couple!"

Telling the truth, I didn't think Lana wanted to be with him, since she wasn't treating him right. He looked at me strait in the eyes and told me.

"I was h-hanging out with yo-ou more than with her."

I was shocked.

I was the reason why they broke up.

"Is that what she said, that I was with you more than her?"

He nodded. I felt bad for him.

"I'm sorry for being your friend, you probably hate me now..."

Albert looked at me with a shocked look.

"This isn't your fault (Y/N)! Lana was just... greedy! She only wanted my hot body for herself!"

Albert tried to do a funny pose, which ended with us both laughing together.

This is why I love Albert.

I started blushing thinking about him. Albert looked at me confused.

"Hey (Y/N), what's wrong? You seem to be blushing about something."

I looked at him shocked.

Should I tell him I like him, would it be the right time to tell him?

"A-Albert, can I t-tell you something?"

"Uh... sure?"

I took a deep breath in.

"IREALLYLIKEYOUBUTIDONTTHINKYOULIKEMEBACKSINCEWEREONLYFRIE-"

"JEEZ, CALM DOWN (Y/N)! Talk a little slower!"

"I-I... really like y-you..."

Albert blushed while rubbing his neck.

"As f-freinds?"

"No... more t-than friends..."

I felt tears start to fall down my cheeks.

My thoughts were cut off when Albert hugged me with his head on my shoulder.

"I'm glad that I'm not the only one having the same feelings that you're feeling."

I hugged him back. We stayed like that for a couple of more minutes until we both broke apart.

"So are we a couple now?"

Albert chuckled at my question.

"Of course we are, silly!"
