Leilani's POV

It's the last day of summer and I wake up to my mom pouring boiling hot water on me telling me to wake my ass up and get out because she has company. When she walked out I went to my bathroom and did my hygiene the jumped in the shower. When I got out I got my iPhone 7plus and texted Kehlani

Me- hey meet at the pool in 20?
Kehlani🌺🥰- yesss I was just about to text you and ask you. Do you need a ride?
Me- no it's fine i need the walk. Not that far anyways.

I went to my dresser and got my all white bathing suit. I put it on the a pair of ripped jean shorts over it and a white crop top over it. I got my bag and put sunscreen a charger a speaker some extra clothes and a towel. I walked to my closet and got my brown sandals and slipped them on. I walked out my room to see my mom snorting coke with her half naked and a guy on the couch naked. I got a water bottle and right as I was about to leave my mom said where are you going trying to look cute no one wants your ugly fat ass. Dumb hoe your not cute. I said im just going to the pool with Kehlani and walked out. I walked down the side walk almost at the pool and saw him. He's so perfect his dark deep brown eyes and his freckles on his face. I've had a crush on him since I was 14. He's well known in Savannah considering he's King Pin. He goes by Biba. His real name is Lucas though. I honestly have no clue on why he's called Biba. But I was walking through when I was staring at him as he was in the porch smoking with his friends he licked eye contact with me for a minute until I stopped and walked faster. Biba was in the same grade as me he went to Savannah High also. I turned the corner and I saw Kehlani at the pool with Xavier. We were at the pool almost all day then as we were drying off Lani said there was a party tonight that her and Xavier were going to that I should join in on. I told her no but she insisted so I said yes. She drove us to her mansion located on Wilmington Island. It was about 15 minutes from the pool. When we got there I ran to the guest bathroom after waving and saying hi to her mom. Her mom was like a mom to me she knows somewhat of what's going on and she helps me with everything. I got to the shower and turned it hot and jumped in and washed. I brushed my teeth then went to Lani's room. She already had a cute outfit laid out for me.

My dress was beige and my heels were black and furry. I got dressed then Lani did my makeup and hair. I wasn't use to dressing like this but I actually liked it. For the first time in forever I felt confident.
After Lani finished me she got dressed in a green dress with creme pumps. With natural makeup and her natural curly hair.

We took a couple of pictures then headed to the party. It was huge. Cars were everywhere lucky for us we ubered and we didn't have to find parking. We walked in and everyone started at us. We looked GOOOOOD. all the boys eyed us like candy and tried to talk to us and then Xavier came and they went someone upstairs which left me alone with my vodka. A guy came and sat by me. He was cute, he had a Durga on and he was light skin. No scratch that he was fine. He sat by me asking for my name and I told him it's Leilani but he can call me Lani. He smiled with that perfect white smile of his.

He said nice I like that name. What is it Hawaiian? I nodded shyly. He asked me if I wanted to go to the front since it was loud. I nodded and said sure. We walked over around the house and immediately he pushed me against the wall and covered my mouth saying you want this baby. I know you do. He pushed up against me and grabbed one of my boobs. I tried to scream and he said don't do that baby it'll only make me mad. I started crying as he was about to make his way into me a guy came charging at him. He started punching the shit out of him blood was everywhere.

Babi's POV
I was about to walk inside the party until I heard screams and crying. I walked around and saw a guy about to rape the girl I saw walking earlier. I ran over to the guy and started punching the life out of him. He started yelling and begging for mercy. I pulled my gun out and told him to give me one reason on why I shouldn't kill his ass right then and there. He just cried saying please please. Don't shoot me. I called up my guys and told them to take him to the Devils basement. I hung up the phone and looked over to see a shaking and crying girl I recognized her and I lifted her chin up and asked if she was straight she nodded her head. I asked for her name and she quietly said Leilani. I nodded my head and said cool I'm - then she cut me off saying Babi yea I know. I laughed and asked her if she wanted to leave she nodded and I showed her the way to my car. She look terrified so I asked her if she was hungry. Like who doesn't want food when there not in the mood. She said yes but she didn't have money so it was fine if I left her here. I told her I got it and asked where she wanted to go. She said IHOP and I drove us there. When I pulled up I went to the side of my car and opened the door for her. She looked cold so I offered her my jacket. She smiled and accepted it. When we walked in we went straight to our table. Now that we were inside I had a better look at her and she was gorgeous. I wanted to hit but I didn't bc of what I just witnessed what happened to her.

LEILANI'S POV
I was sitting across Babi and he was asking me simple questions and then the waitress came she looked as Babi and asked if she could get him anything to drink he said unsweetened tea please and she looked at me with a stank face and said what do you want to drink. I shook it off and just said water with lemon. She smiled at Babi and said she would be right back. Two minutes later she came back and gave Babi his drink and then she gave me my water. She asked if we were ready to order and Babi nodded asking for the Breakfast sampler with his eggs over medium and no butter and then he looked at me and said
what do you want babygirl. I blushed and said the stack of strawberry pancakes. She gave me a stank look and walked away. Soon after she came back with out food and we ate and he paid and we went back to the car. He said where did I want to go I said he could just drop me off at my house. He nodded and drove me home. We pulled up and I thanked him and as I was about to get out he locked the doors. I looked back in confusion and he's like yo on some real shi lemme get your number. I looked at him for a minute before I took his phone and placed my number in it. He smiled and kissed me in my cheek saying bye babygirl. I instantly started blushing and I walked inside and my mom was knocked out so I tip toed to my room and jumped in the showers then did my hygiene. I jumped in bed and plugged my phone in and saw I got a message from a unknown number.

I put my phone down and instantly fell asleep I was exhausted.
