Eeeeek! Apologies this took so long, but I noticed I write in depth a long so it'll take me about 1-2 weeks with the chapters as I have a lot going on! I hope you all enjoy though! Like and comment,

Chapter 2: unlucky sakura

Time flew by and before Sakura knew it, she was at the last semester of the academy before she would see the team she was on, and undoubtedly the sensei she'd be training under.

When she wasn't with Shikamaru or Choji, her official best friends, she was training. Her Chakra reservations grew painfully slow every day, and now it was at the level of a chunin much to her charigrin. Along with her training in taijutsu, she worked day in and day out to perfect a ninjutsu she'd been working on with her chakra, and even ended up tuning into her genjutsu.

It wasn't easy, god training was horrible.

But Sakura knew if she wanted to become one of the best, she'd have to train harder and harder every day.

The rustic coloured skies were tinged with an ominous blue as a certain pink-coloured student walked out of her home, following the path she grew to know like the back of her hand over the last few years. With her parents out of town on simple B rank mission, she spent less and less time in the walls of her childhood hood home, and instead opted for grilling her body until she collapsed on the grounds. These were happening more frequently as school was passing easily as the days went on, so finding spare time to train wasn't hard. Humming a soft lullaby to herself, she continued on the road barely passing the half way mark when she heard a deep grunt and the clashing of metal against something hard.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

Thinking this would be a good time to try one of her new techniques she read about in a book from the library, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Losing herself in her senses, she imagined herself holding her chakra, molding it into her hands - and then throwing a blanket on it before she felt it vanish in an instant.

Smiling goofily to herself, she hid behind a tree as the grunts got louder, and the clashing hit harder as she looked at the shinobi hitting the dummy. Sakura eyed him quietly as she tried to assess him quickly, pretending she was on a mission and had to make a quick assessment of the enemy in absolute discretion.

Looking at his height, she deemed him to be over 6 ft, and took note of his olive complexion, and his russet eyes that gleamed. His hair was shot and spiky, and was quickly mating against his forehead in sweat - a sign that he was maybe growing tired. She noted his beard, and spotted a small wooden tooth pick in his mouth, that was clenched harshly between his teeth as he beat the wooden pole infront of him.

"Okay he's gotta be a Jounin - of Konoha (obviously). He hasn't really been using any ninjutsu since I've been here, actually none so far, so assumption one is gonna be that he specialises in close combat. Note taken of the small blades he smeems to be fighting with, perhaps he's a swordsman?" her eyes widened as she saw them engulf in a blue hue and suddenly felt the waves of chakra not only emitting from the silverware themselves, but also him. and with "Huh, so those knives must be made of a special metal since they're able to absorb the chakra so easily. I wonder if it's- "
