My Alpha Mate Rejected Me

The pain

I woke up with an agonizing pain in my stomach could it be heat? No it was something 10x worse . My mate was matting and marking someone . It got worse and I started screaming out in pain .

" What's wrong are u ok " he asked startled

I just shook my head rapidly saying no not able to speak . Another burst of pain hit me again . I felt like I had no control over my body , my body started moving vigorously . Jace (the vampire ) tried to hold me down so I wouldn't spas as much it helped a little . he whispered soothing words to me trying to calm me down .

The pain started to fade away . Jace was on top of me tired because he used most of his strength trying to hold me down and that was shocking to me because you know he's a vampire and I haven't shifted yet .

" it's ok your going to be fine ok I'm going to help you get through this . Have you shifted yet ?" questioned Jace

I shook my head no

" That's why you don't really smell like wet dog . Come on do u need a drink of water ?"

I nodded my head and tried to sit up but he just pushed me back down

"I'll get it for you just sit here I'll be right back" Jace said as he got up from the bed

After about 3 seconds Jace came back in the room with water. He walked over to me and put it up to my lips like I was a baby. The cool icy water trickled down my dry throat it felt so good .

" You should get back to sleep I'll be right here if u need anything he said

I nodded and turned around putting my head on the pillow closing my eyes. I felt him put his arm around me and pull me in and I surprisingly didn't resist it felt......nice,normal I felt completely safe.

I then let the darkness take me away.
