"you know; you should write another song about me," lou said from the bathroom where she was brushing her teeth. brandon squinted his brows profusely, turning away from the book he was reading to try and understand. still, he had no clue what on earth she was talking about. "uh? what love song?" he asked anxiously. "hey, don't play dumb alright! mariana told me you played it for them on the camping trip.." brandon soon realized what she was referring to, and softly sighed to himself, dropping his head into the bed covers. lou threw her toothbrush into the sink, and came leaping towards him. she laughed, and tugged at his shirt, begging him to let her listen to the song. "please! i just wanna hear how cheesy you are!" she exclaimed. he practically felt compelled by pressure to play it at this point, but it still seemed problematic to him. the song was never meant for lou. it was meant for callie. it felt wrong to serenade another girl with a composition written for someone else, but it especially felt wrong to steal the words away from a relationship that meant a lot to him. a relationship that still meant a lot to him. he didn't want to betray callie like that. after zoning out for awhile, brandon pulled up enough courage to be honest with lou, and just decided to tell her. "so, listen.. i didn't actually- write that song about you." lou's posture sunk as she looked away in embarrassment, but soon after, she gained grip on her emotions. she straightened her lip, and looked back at him until he made eye contact with her. "then who did you write it about?" b chuckled nervously, "what makes you think i wrote it about somebody?" lou tilted her head, and frowned at his weak attempt to fool her. "you had to of written it about somebody, or you wouldn't be this afraid to play it for me!" she said, raising her voice. brandon didn't like the whole honesty thing, but he didn't care much for lying either. he uncrossed his arms, and let them fall to his side. then, he looked her in the eyes, and bluntly told her the truth, "fine. the truth is; i wrote it for callie." lou batted her eyelashes in shock while thinking of what to say next. lou knew about callie, and brandon already, but she'd always viewed it as a fling, but no matter how hard she tried to erase it. it wasn't just a fling in her head anymore. it was a love song. brandon loved callie.
