Pain
Interesting emotion. It's something everybody feels. No matter what, you're going to feel it within your life. But why? Yeah, if you injure yourself or if you fall and trip, you hurt yourself. But there are times where you suddenly feel pain for no apparent reason whatsoever.1) Heartbreak, you feel as if your life is falling apart. The person that meant the most to you... Is gone. You feel as though you have been shot in the heart. You gave your heart, your feelings, for them to take care of and they just drop it, smashing it to pieces right in front of you, just like that. And you start to question, why? You gave them your best, and it wasn't enough. Why?
Or...2) Depression. A.k.a the worst possible punishment (is it a punishment tho?). You feel as if you are being torn apart limb by limb. You feel as if nothing mattered anymore. More so, you feel nothing. You feel as of all your friends and family don't care about you and have never did whereas some of them care about you deeply. Your will to live has disappeared long where it knows you can't find it. You stay in bed all day. You feel as if you're being bullied every second of the day... By yourself. And you can't do anything about it. You try to keep your loved ones happy, fearing that they, as well, might catch this sudden, deathly cold that you have cought and suddenly can't let go. You feel as if your escape is simply within reach but yet miles away from your grasp. You start to question life. And why you were even chosen to be in it.
There are hundreds, possibly thousands of other kinds of pain. But may you ask various kinds of people that have been through these kinds of situations, they may yet say the same thing as I am about to say now, this kind of pain may be worse than any other type of pain out have endured during your life. Some people, are terribly scared of it. Scared of the outcome they are going to get from it. Scared, of the terrifying consequences that they may be able to conflict from this if they yet unconsciously grasp it and then suddenly find out that they can't let it go. Many people have yet ever so many and ever so unique fears. Their 'worst nightmares', you could even say. For some people, yes, it may be death. However, during some of these moments of pain, you may have the strong urge to even take your own life. It may not seem scary anymore at that moment. And to be honest, that is also scary. Reality, is scary. So why not escape from it?
