Ron stared at him for some seconds,trying to understand what the Slytherin had just said.
Hermione wouldn't look at him,wouldn't dare look at him.She turned to face Draco giving him a confused gaze.
"What did you say?"Ron asked finally,still socked and perhaps a bit scared.
"I said,that I'm her boyfriend."He answered his voice low.
Ron turned to face Hermione,she was still looking at Draco.
"What did he say?"He asked her.
She slowly turned her head to look at him.
"Well-"She started keeping her voice quiet.
"Oh my god."He breathed."It's true?"
She didn't talk.
"Embarrassed to be with me Granger?"Draco asked her.
"Of course not."She argued,her voice still quiet and measured."Yes Ron.It's true."She replied and met her friend's confused eyes because she had to.
"Are you serious?"He paused."He's a bloody Deatheater!"
"No he's not!"
He glanced at Draco for a minute,then back at her shaking his head.
She eyed her other friend who was surprisingly calm,just looking at her.
There was silence now.
Draco released a heavy breath and gazed at Hermione."Well,I'm going to class,I'll meet you there."
"No Draco wait."She grabbed his wrist and Ron literally flinched as he looked at her hand touching Malfoy's.
"I'll come with you."
He nodded.
"Ron we can talk later-"
"It won't be necessary."He cut her giving her a blank gaze but she could see some of the horror slowly leaving his face.
She didn't answer,just turned and tightened her hand around Draco's.
They walked out of the dining room,she could feel the students looking at them,whispering things.
She had seen them doing it when Draco walked by,but it was weird now that she was walking with him.She squeezed his hand a bit as her eyes cut a female Weasly looking at her.
Hermione gave her a soft smile and she almost heard the other girl whispering I was sure about this.
She was kind of relieved that at least one of her friends had understand her without any explanations.
They made it to the corridor.
"Are you okay?"He asked without looking at her.
She nodded."I think so."
"This is gonna be hard."He breathed.
"I know."She sighed as a scene crossed her mind."But just to know."She stopped and looked at him."I'm not embarrassed to be seen with you,I'm really not and you are such a jerk for even thinking this."
He met her angry eyes."I know."
"Good.Let's go then."

"Where is Ron?"Hermione asked Harry as she entered the Gryffindor dormitory.
"I don't know,probably somewhere with Neville."He answered taking a sit on the sofa."Do you want to talk?"
