His smile was breathtaking, his laugh mesmerizing. His eyes, beautiful. Everything about him was amazing.  But at last they would never be together. Macy sat with a grin staring at the boy of her dreams. Just yesterday they brushed shoulders when walking in the hallway.

"You should probably stop staring, before he notices." said Lexi who was sitting beside her.  Macy straighten up.

"What? I'm not staring." She said sheepishly. Luke sat quietly reading a book, while Jake sat on his phone. Grayson came up to the table looking a bit ticked off.

"What happened to you?" asked Luke.  Grayson looked over at Trey, who was hanging around a bunch of girls.

"That guy is getting all the hunnies." Grayson pointed at Trey. Jake raised an eyebrow.

"That's what you're mad about?" He asked. Luke cracked up laughing along with Lexi. Macy turned her attention back to Trey.

"Hmmm." She purred. Grayson crossed his arms and sat down with a big huff. Trey and his friends got up, ready to leave.

"Hey Macy." he waved walking past her.

"Uh...hey." She said back. But he was already gone. She put her face into her hands. Lexi put a hand on her back to comfort her.

"I mean seriously, what do they even see in that guy?" Grayson asked as girls blew kisses and giggles.

"Dude, you need to chill." Luke told him. Grayson rolled his eyes and continued to glare. Milo sat in his room painting picture of a sunset. He was at peace, enjoying the silence. Violet lay on the couch, looking up at the ceiling. The Queen had some business to attend leaving her children alone. Violet started to sigh. Milo decided to ignore her. She sighed again. He didn't answer. Sigh . No answer. Sigh.

"What. do. You. want?" he asked annoyed. Violet faced him with a big smile and stood up, making her way towards him.

"Well now that you asked." She flung her arms out knocking down his portrait. Milo gave her a horrified face.

"What was that for." He picked it up, cradling it like a baby.

"Let's do something!" she exclaimed jumping on his bed.

"Like what." He asked. She gave him a sinister smile. Milo knew whatever she had planned, was bad.

"Let's go to earth." Milo set his painting down.

"You want to go back?" he asked.

"Yep." she said. "I wanna know what everyone's up too."

"I have met lot's of princesses, but you are something different." He told her.

"I know." she beamed.

"That wasn't a compliment."  He murmured.  Suddenly the lights flickered on and off.

"Violet is that you're demon friend?" Milo asked.

"Um, no." She told him. "Wait what?" A lamp was tossed across the room. Milo ducked down. A raspy laugh was heard from a distance.  Violet jumped behind the small couch. Her brother ran out the room.

"Where are you going?" She asked running after him. "You're supposed to protect your younger siblings, you know."

Coffee was in the air, Music filled their ears. Macy and Lexi were seated at a table by a big window at Baxter Cafe. Macy stirred her spoon in cup of hot chocolate.

"Ya know, you could always tell him." Lexi said.

"No, way!" Macy yelled. "I can't do that."

"So, you're just gonna stare at him the rest of your life?" Asked Lexi.
