The flickering street light out side SweetWater Mansion was slowly becoming unnoticeable as the rising sun peaked through the naked branches of the nearby SweetWood forest. It's dazzling light waking up the eldest within the Edwardian mansion.
SweetWater is not your tropical mansion. As Instead of housing maids and servants, it is home to younge witches and wizards who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets or abusive homes.
Running this house are Mr and Mrs Sweet, muggle-born couple, unable to have their own children. But are like parents to the children within the walls of the mansion.
Protecting the household, from any unwelcome muggles is a massive forest containing all manor of loyal creatures, willing to protect the family with their lives. As well as a clearing suitable for quidditch games in all weathers.
In the early hours of the morning, the married couple were normally the fist up, so they could prepare themselves for the maddens that comes with the approaching day. Then, as normally follows Susan Millicent a small seven year old girl, shy and quite at first, but full of energy ones she gets comfortable. Closely followed by Hengist Woodcroft, Aidan Abbott and Alicia Abbott who are all best friends, at the ages of nine and eight the brother and sister duo are inseparable, always found joking along with their fellow beater. Commonly, at around eight to nine in the morning, ones most of the children are up, Minnie Gudgeon comes down, energetic as always. At the age of thirteen, she was normally found with her head in a book studying, ordering around the troublesome children or narrowly avoiding pranks which the twins throw her way for waking them up. Nashi RiverGold and Rebecca RiverGold are the second eldest and most childish out of all the witches and wizards that occupied the mansion. Their combined love for pranks is one of the only thing they have in common, along side their last name, where they live, how the smaller children looked up to them ( though in different ways), their looks, their interest in muggle movies and games, helpfulness around the house. With Nashi being more of one of the guys, getting into trouble frequently because of breaking practically every rule makes since they care at the young age of five and Roxanne being a pink princess hardly breaking rules, it wasn't hard to tell the difference.
Once everyone was gathered around the paint splattered, wooden dining table, both Mr and Mrs Sweet served the children a banquet of delicious home made foods. A tradition when it is someone's Birthdays. April 2nd is the only day the twins spend glued together, doing everything form pranks to watching new and old muggle films. They never did anything that the other wouldn't enjoy and their eleventh birthday was no different.
Well apart from their unexpected mail delivery, that came in the early evening. A small brown barn owl perched itself on the counter in front of the window, which Hengist opened just moments before to let the visitor in. Attached to its stuck thin legs, held two identical letters sealed by the famous Hogwarts wax.
At seeing them, the younger children seem quite confused, as they had not arrived when Minnie got her letter. But the twins, Minnie and two adults knew exactly what it meant. Nashi's hair turned a bright neon yellow while Rebecca just sat next to her wide-eyed. This was going to be the start of an amazingly big adventure. The best part about it was the fact that they would be doing it together. No matter what.
