a man was once such
wise with knowledge
But had no sympathy
nor empathy within himself
he was walking down an
aisle at the crack of morning
feeling sorrow for himself
a little kid who is cheerful and happy
was playing around
He saw the sorrowful man
all by himself
He walked up to him and
asked
"What's wrong sir?"
He looked at the boy startled but
he answered
"Grown up stuff little kid"
The boy got more curious
so he asked
"What are the grown up stuff sir?"
The wise man was hesitant,But he
answered
"You see kid,I loved someone dearly
and deeply from my heart"
"I gave them affection
I supported them
I was there for them in their hardest times"
"But they always said I lacked
something,and i don't know
what it was"
"Nor what it is,so am just
walking my sorrowful thoughts
on this beautiful morning"
The little kid didn't know what
to say,but he spoke
"Well,do you love yourself sir?"
The man was confused,mildly confused
But he answered anyway
"No,no i don't,why the question
it though kid?"
"Well sir",he paused
"You should love yourself
before you love others"
The man was listening at
peace with the wiseful words the kid
was saying
"You should value yourself.
You should know your worth.
You should know that you
are important.
You should love yourself."
The man listened and decided
to say
"Thank you,thank you so much"
"I never knew I needed this until
now"
"Thank you"
The man walked away calmly but
happy to hear an advice that
he wouldn't ever had give
within himself
And the boy went to play again
more cheerfully at the thought of
giving an advice to a once,
wise old man
