The sequel to, "To her"
-------------------------------
The sound of the chalkboard
On the wall, makes me remember
the time.
How long I've been here
How long I've been here with her
How long I've been stuck
in a room with her
The one who makes the stars look like nothing
The one who makes the Sun dim
The one who danced with nereids
Swam in the river of Styx
The one I wished was dead
The one I wished was still alive with me
Not locked away in her own tower
With her own dragon
Guarding and destroying
her little by little
Sometimes, I hear the sound of chalk on the wall
Scratching away
The days I've been stuck here
One line at a time
One line a day
I can barely count the number of scratches of whisked away chalk
I've been stuck with nothing but chalk and my memories
Sometimes, I hear the sound of chalk on the wall
Which makes me remember how long I've been stuck
Without anything but a piece of chalk
