Why me?

Chapter One

Panting could be heard mixing with the beat of thumping hearts. Sweat mixed with determination and the squeaking of shoes on the freshly cleaned floors. Jungkook cursed as he made yet another wrong move while dancing. "Cut the music" a light voice could be heard as the music from the new Album was stopped for the millionth time that day. Jungkook's head was ringing and his world was almost spinning as he caught his breath when suddenly the voice that stopped the music was a lot closer and louder "Kookie what's wrong?". Hoseok. Jungkook looked up meeting his eyes "Nothing hyung, just i-i'm tired" he whispered not wanting to be seen as weak by the latter hoping he wouldn't be that worried. Hoseok's eyes softened immediately as he grabbed his maknae's hand "You haven't been sleeping well lately have you?" He said softly his other hand running through the boys hair as Jungkook shook his head no. Hoseok sighed "why don't you go sit down and rest for awhile and drink some water. I can go over it with you another time when we are free okay?" He said softly honestly feeling bad for the younger and also just worrying about his well being. Jungkook nodded knowing not to argue with him "Thank you Hobi" he said as he headed over to the back wall sliding down it as he grabbed a water bottle drinking it down pretty quickly. Hoseok walked back over to the others them all giving him a worried look as he shook them off and countinued to practice. Jungkook watched them dance and smiled as he watched Jin and Namjoon. They really had improved since when they first debuted. Hoseok glanced every now and again to his youngest member and basically little brother and was wondering what was going on inside the poor boys head. Why wasn't he been sleeping well? Was he mentally okay? He sighed as he helped everyone else with the new dance routine that he himself had proudly made. Eventually practice was over and a bubbly Jimin bounced over to Jungkook offering him a hand smiling cutely. Jungkook offered a smile back and gladly took his hand. Jungkook loved all the members equally but he just was a bit closer with Jimin. They had always been close along with Taehyung. They were a trouble making Trio but always looked out for one another. They were the types of friends where cuddling and skin contact was normal. So it wasn't a surprise to the other members when Jimin wrapped his arms around Jungkook's tiny waist pulling him close as they walked to the van. When they got to the van Tae, Jungkook, and Jimin all sat in the back with Jungkook in the middle as they both cuddled the tired Bunny. When they finally arrived back to the dorm everyone shuffled in plopping them selves in various places around the room yoongi and Jimin the only ones leaving to go to their rooms. Jin decided that he was not stepping a foot inside the kitchen and would order takeout Later once everyone had some energy back in their bodies. Jungkook slowly got up bidding well to all his members for he was going to take a nap. As he was walking down the hall he felt a large hand grabbing his arm. He looked back shocked to see Yoongi standing there with a tired expression "O-oh hyung you scared me" he said his cheeks starting to dust a redish pink shade. Yoongi nodded in apology before speaking "How are you Kook?" He said in a gentle caring tone. Jungkook didn't answer right away his heart beating so loud he wouldn't be surprised if yoongi himself could hear it "I'm okay hyung I just need some rest" he said his cheeks growing a darker shade. Yoongi nodded at the answer before pulling him into a quick soft hug suprising the younger but he hugged back " I worry about you Jungkook-ah, Don't over work yourself okay? Hyung cares about you." He said in a firm but soft voice as he let go of the younger before patting his head and watching him almost run back to his room. Yoongi chuckled as he watched the scene thinking he looked cute. Soon a cough interrupted his thoughts "You are so whipped for him" Yoongi chuckled at this statement as he looked at his long time friend, Namjoon. "Maybe Joon, just maybe" he said as they shared a small smile before they both retreated to their rooms. When jungkook entered his room he almost screamed when he saw a giggling pink haired boy. "I care about you Kook" Jimin said mocking his Hyung's voice as Jungkook hit him with a pillow. " Shut up Jimin, I don't make fun of  your crush!" Jungkook sighed as he plopped down next to him Jimin noticing that maybe he pushed the boy too far. He pulled the bunny into his arms and held him close "Sorry kookie, wanna just snuggle and nap?" The younger nodded his head as he let Jimin pull him close as he fell into a blissful peaceful sleep.
