Min:

Are you doing anything?

I'm just rehearsing by myself

What are you up to?

Min:

I'm working on a song, but I hit a wall and it's really annoying.

Using me as a distraction?

Min:

As long as you don't mind.

You could never bother me

Plus I could take a break

Min:

Would you mind if I call you?

Go ahead

I may be a little out of breath though sorry

Dancing takes a lot out of me

Min is calling you

Decline - Accept

"Jinook-ah," the voice on the other end tentative called out.

"Hello Min-ah," Jinook replied cheerfully, even though he was drenched in sweat, "wait... wow."

"What," Min questioned.

"I forgot I didn't really know if you were female or male," he chuckled, "guess I finally found out."

"You thought I was a female," Min replied, perplexed by the simple idea.

"I mean I didn't think you were female, it was just something I didn't know. I mean you haven't told me who you are so I was left to wonder on somethings."

"This whole animosity thing really keeps making things so much harder," he sighed, "and before you say it, no I'm not going to tell you, I tried so hard to just give it up now. All my hard work for nothing."

"Fine, fine, fine, have it your way," Jinook chuckled, "so how are things over there?"

"To be honest things have been kind of slow lately, we're practically finished with our current album, but we aren't releasing it until we finish our next project."

"Oooo secret project, tell me."

"You're such an idiot," Min chuckled, "Secret means I can't tell. If it makes you feel better you'll be the first one I tell once I can talk about it."

"I'm so touched Min-ah, I think I might be tearing up a bit," Jinook snickered, but then actually wiped his eye, "oops, wait no that was sweat. Oh no now it stings!"

Min laughs on the other end of the line, "Stop laughing at me!", Jinook shouted into the phone.

"I can't help that you're such an idiot," Min replied through his breathy laugh, "I wish I could see this in person."

"Why do I even talk to you," Jinook responded as he desperately tried to get his eyes to stop hurting, "all you do is laugh at me when I'm in pain."

"Agh, you love me shut up."

"You got me there," a slight blush crept up on cheeks.

"Anyways, I got a question for you."

"Shoot."

"Why are you rehearsing by yourself," he asked.

"Oh well everyone else is relaxing right and I don't want to bother them, plus I need to make sure everything is perfect for our performance," Jinook answered easily, "Plus I don't what it is but dancing to me is just relaxing, lets you escape your thoughts."

"You do a bunch of producing for your group right?"

"Yeah I do, and I absolutely love it, but sometimes I just get to caught up in lyrics or trying to get the sound just right, it becomes too much sometimes."

"I can understand that."

"It's why you wanted to call me right?"

"Yeah, sometimes I just focus on my songs for too long that I can't get a coherent thought out because I have fifty lines going through my head trying to figure out an order or a theme for the song."

"Hopefully I was able to help clear your thoughts out, even if just a little bit."

"You've done a lot to help Jinook-ah thanks."

"It's what I'm here for."

"What to give support to anyone that might need a little help?" he lightly chuckled.

"I'll have you know there was a reason I was given the leader role in my group."

"I thought it was because you're the oldest."

"I actually got it because no one else wanted it, but in the end, it all worked out because I'm a good mediator."

"Does your group get into a lot of fights?"

"I wouldn't say fights, but they rough house a lot and take things to far sometimes, but I'm there and make sure it doesn't get that far and that no one gets hurt."

"Do they get your tidbits of wisdom as well?"

"They do but every time I get serious they start to cry, so I try to keep it light and breezy with them most of the time, also don't tell anyone that I told you that, they don't like it when people know they cry."

"Ah, so deep down they're all soft boys?"

"Gotta say I raised them right," Jinook laughed.

"They see you as the father of the group?"

"More like a single mother that is raising five children with no help."

"Yes, I love that," Min bursted out laughing, "I love this image. You in the kitchen wearing an apron preparing breakfast for your five rowdy children. I love it."

"Here you go again, getting pleasure from my misfortune," he sighed.

"I can't help it, this is amazing."

After Min stopped laughing Jinook was enveloped of the silence of the room he had commandeered for his practice, the only sound in the room being the slight ticking coming from the clock, which read 10:45, "It's getting late Min-ah, and I have to be up early tomorrow for group rehearsal."

"Huh, oh it is, I shouldn't keep you any longer. Thank you for spending your time with me Jinook-ah."

"It was nice talking to you Min-ah, you can call me whenever I'm free. I should go now, I wish you luck on your song and hope you have a nice rest of the night."

"Thank you, I wish you luck on your next performance. Get some rest now, I'll talk to you soon."

"Goodnight Min-ah."

"Goodnight Jinook-ah."
