The two days of rest went quickly for Jinook, mostly because he spent his days sleeping or snuggling with his cat catching up on the alone time he needed after spending hours upon hours with his rambunctious friends. Though as he enjoyed his peace he once again slipped into a habit he had tried so hard to leave behind him, once arriving from his sister's home he hadn't touched his phone since he just simply turned on do not disturb and left it on his desk.
This would have been fine since most of his friends had gotten used to not hearing from him for days, but there was one person who had never had to experience being ignored by the man.

It wasn't until the day they were to meet with BTS did he finally check his phone, though not on his free will or because he realized he did something wrong, it was because Dal told him that their manager was trying to get in contact with him.
"Why isn't my phone ringing then," Jinook asked.
"Probably because you probably put it on do not disturb again," Gyu-Hui sighed as he ate breakfast, "which means you're going to be in trouble with manager-nim since he's told you hundred times to not leave your phone on silent."
"Oh no," Jinook whined as he patted his pockets trying to find his phone, quickly coming to a conclusion, "Do any of you know where my phone is?"
"You really are a mess Ji," Seok huffed, "It's on your desk."
"Thank you Seokkie," Jinook smiled before heading towards his room.
Once reaching his desk that was left unused over the past two days he flipped over his phone and turned it on. Only expecting a few notifications from their manager he was greatly surprised by the number of notifications left from Min.
"Oh, shit," Jinook panicked, quickly picking up his phone and entering his passcode, "I knew I was missing something. Fuck, I'm actually the worst."

Before he could see if the other man would reply his phone was taken over by an incoming call, out of pure shock he quickly answered the phone.
"You put your phone on do not disturb again didn't you?" a deep voice sighed over the phone.
"Ah, manager-nim I'm so sorry," Jinook replied, ready to get scolded.
"I swear if this happens one more time I'm replacing your phone with a pager," he sighed, "I've also told you that you can call me Hyung, all this manager-nim talk makes me feel old."
"Sorry, Hyung," Jinook laughed slightly, glad to know his manager was all that upset with him, "I'll make sure to remember now, and I'll make sure to have my phone on at all times."
"Thank you. Know to the reason I called, I'm coming to pick you all up in thirty, you better be ready when I get there. I don't want you guys to be late to this meeting."
Taking in his outfit which consisted solely of pajama pants he replied with, "All ready on it Hyung."
"Sure you are. I'll be there soon, please be ready on time."
"Hear you loud and clear, see you soon," Jinook finished before hanging up.
The next thirty minutes consisted of all the members shoveling cold leftovers into their mouths and dressing quickly in clothes that would hopefully make this seem somewhat professional. Time traveled by quickly as they rushed about, but when their manager unlocked the door they were all haphazardly slipping on their shoes and trying to get some more food into their stomachs. Their manager only chuckled lightly at them and coralled them into the minivan.
When they arrived at their offices and situated in their designated meeting room they waited ten minutes until someone decided to break the silence that had fallen amongst the group after they had gotten out of the van.
"The meeting is suppose to start at 7:15 right," Jihun asked as he peered out of the windows that looked down the halls, trying to get a glance at the group that would be meeting them.
"Meeting starts at 7:40," their manager replied, not bothering to look up from his phone.
"What- why are here so early," Dal whined.
"Because you guys have a tendency to run late," he replied, "so I decided to arrive 40 minutes early, though I think they'll be joining us in a few. They said they're running ahead of schedule, you won't have to wait much longer."
And he was right, they only had to wait a few more minutes before the other group piled into the rather large room.
Everything was fine, though for Jinook it wasn't, his heart was racing he couldn't control his feelings. But once Min Yoongi stepped into the room and immediately made eye contact with him he only had one thought rushing through his mind.
I need to fix this, he's special and I want him in my life. I can't let myself get in my way this time, I'm going to make an effort for him.
Hey just a heads up but I won't be posting for the next two weeks. I have a lot of things happening in my life right now and I don't want to worry about following my upload schedule because It's only going to stress me out even more. Hopefully, during this break I'll be able to write so that I'll have content once I'm not as busy.
I hope you all enjoy the story so far, It means so much to me when you guys vote or leave a comment. Thank you so much. :)
