"Well you're not wrong." I said and continued to read the textbook.

Peter's POV

As I overheard Ned calling Y/n 'Darkness', I chuckled lightly to myself before hearing my phone Buzz. Ned and Y/n heard my phone buzz too since I was right near them.

"Who's that?" Y/n asked them Ned chimed in after saying "Yeah, Who's messaging you at this time?"

I looked at the both of them then down at my phone before scrunching my eyebrows confused for a second. "Mr. Stark?" I said hesitantly first.

"No way. You know Stark?" Ned asked

"Yeah. Remember the internship?" I told him

I glanced over to look at Y/n to see her silent for a moment. "You alright?" I asked her

"Yeah I'm fine. Like Ned said, why message you around this time?" She said

I just shrugged my shoulders with an 'I don't know' look and before I could even message back, he started to call me.

"He's calling you now? Must be something serious." Ned told me

"Yeah, you better answer it." Y/n replied as she glanced at my phone before back on me.

Giving them a nod, I pressed the answer button and placed the phone next to my ear.

"Hey Mr. Stark."

[Hey Kid. Did you find out who Shadow is?]

I looked at Y/n with a face filled with concern of exploiting her cover and the fact that she was indeed the one who called herself Shadow. By the way I looked at her, I could tell that she looked a bit uneasy.

"I didn't. Before I could, she teleported." I mentioned

[Teleported? So you're telling me.. you saved her pretty much... exposed yourself and didn't find out who she was?!]

I went quiet for a moment and when I looked over at both of my friends, I could see the nervousness on
Y/n's face and the shocked look on Ned's. I guess they could hear the yelling from the phone.

"Y-yes Mr. Stark." I stated

It was quiet on the other line for a while that I swore he might've either hung up or have been really frustrated.

"Hello?... Mr. Stark?" I finally erupted the silence.
"Are you still there?.."

[Yes I'm still here. You know? Maybe I should get involve. I don't usually do things like this but if you can't do a simple thing as in find out who this 'Shadow' person is who could potentially reveal to the public out there of who the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is then I guess I'll have to take matters into my own hands.]

"I can do this. Just give me a chance.. and what were you planning on doing?" I said then asked boldly

[You don't get to question my tactics. If you don't find out and let me know who this person is or if they can be trusted by keeping your identity a secret then I'll have to intervene. I'm giving you a second chance. Do I make myself clear.]

"Yes sir."

[Good. Now make sure you get me that information. I can risk you getting anymore of an exposure than you have already.]

And with that, he hung up. I stood there looking at the phone and thinking of what should I do next. I didn't want to jeopardize the friendship I had with Y/n but I also didn't want anything to happen to her if Stark got involved. So I felt stuck at that exact moment before Ned started with questions.

Y/n's POV

It looked like Peter was having a serious conversation with Stark due to the amount of times he kept glancing over at me and Ned. There was a moment when both me and Ned could hear what sounded like yelling through the phone. We glanced at each other before turning our attention to Peter that now was looking at us. I got nervous and Ned was more of a shocked concerned face. We didn't know what was happening but it didn't sound like Stark was too happy about it. After the phone call, we saw how Peter looked at his phone as if not knowing was to say or do. That was until Ned decided to be Ned and ask a bunch of questions.

"What was that about? I didn't know you had his number. Why did it sound like he was yelling or angry at you? Is there something you didn't tell us? Peter?" He said

I just sat there in silence and waited for some if not all of Ned's questions to be answered. I was curious too but not as curious as I should've been for some reason.

Peter looked over at Ned from is little trance like state and answered "Yes I have his number since the Internship. He was yelling yes and a bit angry I guess you could say but that was because I didn't tell him information he wanted to hear. What I didn't tell you guys is that I when I helped Y/n or should I saw 'Shadow' from when she got unconscious during the robbery, I revealed myself and called him because I wasn't sure what to do. At that moment I didn't know Y/n was Shadow and I sort of panicked because I thought that it was going to get out there of me being Spider-Man."

I didn't know what to say at the moment and got lost in thought of what was actually happening right now.

Ned stood up. "Wait so you told Tony about Shadow finding out who you are?" He said and Peter nodded
"So What is it exactly you are planning to do Peter? You can't just single handily give her up to him right?"

Peter was quiet for a moment again. "What if I bring her in?"

"Peter are you serious? Don't you think there is a reason why she doesn't want anyone to know who she is? Especially Tony Stark? I mean really think about it." Ned continued
