Lucy's "Friends"

Grand War Arc: IV

Previously:

She wasn't responding, Natsu got worried and he decided to go for it, he stood up and ran out the guild, the guild noticed but they didn't know why he busted out like that, some had a feeling it was Lucy, however they were debating if they should go with him.

However, Lucy's voice rang in his head not long after,

It's okay Natsu, I'm okay don't worry she was saying in between pants

No, you are not okay, and I'm coming for you

Well, Lucy kinda messed this up didn't she oh Lucyyy what did you do. Natsu is going to storm the place. 

She was doing hand to hand combat with a wizard and he was pretty good if she said so herself. He then pulled out a sword unexpectedly and was about to strike Lucy with it until...

Fire covered her vision it she felt the owner's magic and turned to look at the right and there was her savior. Natsu was standing there recoiling himself standing up straight as he did his fire dragons roar on the poor poor soldier.

A smirk was placed on his features as he gave her a wink while a big smile was placed on hers.

Slowly they walk towards each other and Natsu opens his arms as she walks to him. Immediately as she sees his gesture she sprints towards him and wraps her arms around him as he embraces her tightly.

"You had me worried for a second there Luce" Natsu told her

"I know, I'm sorry" She responded

Natsu let a sigh of relief, he was worried about her. They stayed like that for a couple more seconds and then they let go.

"Let's go get Wendy" Natsu announced

The duo had been here for about 3 hours and can't find any higher classmen. They only encounter minions. Virgo and Loke went back to the spirit world to recover some energy and give their master a break as well.

Lucy and Natsu were walking down a staircase which was said by one of the minions that is where the cells were. As the knocked out the guards at the bottom of the staircase with a few punches they began their search.

"Wendy?" Lucy shouted

"Where are you kiddo" Natsu said afterwards

They walked down the corridors Lucy and Natsu taking different paths looking left and right to find her.

"Natsu over here" Lucy shouted

Without a second thought Natsu rushed to where he had heard Lucy's voice. Once he had arrived he saw Wendy in the cell unconscious being held by magic restraining cuffs.

Natsu motion Lucy to move and she did, he grabbed the bars and then they were glowing red then they melted. Natsu then stepped through and broke her chains and handed her to Lucy who was desperately waiting to receive her. Once Lucy had her in her arms she carried her like a baby on her hip with her head on her shoulder.

They started to walk out with the girl and they were talking to each other. After they got out of the Empire Natsu offered to carry her and Lucy was reluctant to let her go but handed her to Natsu who carried her in a similar manner.

"Thanks for coming Natsu" Lucy said sincerely

"No problem Luce, I just cant stand by while you are getting hurt" he responded

Wendy slowly woke up to find herself in Natsu's arms. " Natsu-san, Lucy-san" she said still a little out of it. She snuggled into Natsu receiving his warmth, she wrapped her arms around his neck to get warmer.
