Grand War Arc: II

The times when he fought for her, the times when he saved her, the times when they were supporting and taking care of each other.

Two words.

Warmth

and

Love

Soon those silly words will be nothing, they would make her flinch at their voices and their touch. Good luck Fairy Tail for what you have coming.

Lucy's POV

"Natsu, what exactly is going on?" I asked since my curiosity got the best of me 

Everyone kept quiet, so I thought that it was something bad. 

Until Gray spoke up, " Wendy was kidnapped, who ever it was they wrote on the infirmary wall 'help and cure the princess fast or else the dragon slayer got it' but we didn't know this until the a fake Wendy lunched itself to Natsu as he was walking out with you in his arms"

Happy continued, " Gray was the first one to react just in time before it got to you, once we heard that Natsu escaped with you from Gajeel then we knew where to go since only Team Natsu, knows where to go if something like this would have happened"

After that it was silent...

Princess...

I knew right away who it was 

I also noticed the magic that transformed me, I look at what the magic did to me, I look like a dark user. 

I noticed the ring on my hand, I slid it off my finger and held it in my hand. I looked at the words carefully, and I  started to glare at them.

Look what disaster you made... I can't easily forgive you for kidnapping Wendy. 

With out a word I infused my magic onto my clothes, they started to shine. After they stopped my clothes were back to normal. I mentally called on Taurus' power, and broke the ring into tiny pieces.

I tilted my hand and watched as the pieces fell to the ground. I look up and Natsu and stared into his eyes. I nodded my head to the side, signaling that I wished to talk to him, alone. Then I walked off as Natsu followed me.

When we were far away enough I stopped. 

"It's him isn't it?" I asked as I looked at him

He nodded " Yeah it is", his voice sounded so strong

"I'm going after her" I told him 

He stayed silent and looked into my eyes, "No" 

I stared at him in disbelief, "No?" 

"I said no Lucy, you aren't going over there to get yourself killed" Natsu said to me 

It got me infuriated, "Do you not think I am not capable of defending myself and Wendy?" I asked as my voice rose and then faltered at the end, it was cracking

He looked at me with a straight face but his eyes were softening , "I didn't say that... it's too dangerous for you to go alone"

"But it's my fault that she got captured" at this point my voice is shaking, but I wasn't going to cry in front of him

He must have noticed it, he came closer to me and then he wrapped one arm around my waist and his hand went to the back of my head and he pulled me in. I put my head on his chest, hugging him back by wrapping my arms around his torso. 

The hug was so warm and loving that she didn't want to let go of him, the hug made her forget why she was upset. 

"Please Natsu let me go save her.."

"I can't Lucy, if something were to happen to you..."

"Nothing is going to happen to me, I'll come back with Wendy, we'll come back to you" I said as I looked up to him 

He looked down at me, "Let me go with you" he said while he placed his hand on my cheek

"I need to do this alone, and plus if you come you'll both engage in battle which is not the point of the operation" I stated as I leaned in to his touch.

He sighed, "Fine, if you need me just think of me alright and I'll be there in a flash. And I swear Lucy Heartfilia, if I spot a scratch on you I will storm in there myself and kill him" 

They learned after they both fainted they were connected in a way they could not explain, I told only him what had happened before and we came to the conclusion that it must have been a side effect of traveling through a dark magic portal. Frankly we were right, because there was small magic partials around us. However, they disappeared but they remained connected and they didn't mind they were 'best friends' after all.

Now it was my turn to sigh, "Fine, thank you" I snaked my arms around his neck making his eyes widen at my action, I pulled him down and gave him a kiss which he was responding to.

We broke for air, he gave me a bright smile and kissed my forehead. 

" Good luck Luce, please be careful" 

I nodded and kissed his cheek and let go, " Take care of Happy for me alright"

"You don't have to ask me that, you know I will"

"Yeah I know I should be back soon" 

As they were walking away from each other they thought

So I am going to start a new section in this story as I stated in the last chapter, it's called Gran War Arc. As I said it will be focusing on three pairings and one being Nalu. I made this extra long since it's like a new beginning. However, I am thinking in changing some chapters up and maybe make Grand War Arc a new story. But i feel like the most logical way to go is changing the chapters up so they would meet the expectations of the Grand War Arc. That is all for now I'll keep you posted and notified.
