The next morning and several hours of sleep later
I wake up to the bright sunlight spilling through the window of my room, the sound of the busy city noise making me alert to the change in atmosphere.
I turn over on my side looking at the empty room and remembering that I'd taken the first step in moving to another country, arriving just the night before.
I slowly roll out of my bed and make my way to the en-suite bathroom, showering and brushing my teeth, before blow drying my hair applying a little make-up and changing into a pair of black skinny jeans and a grey sweater.
I then go to wake my friend Jenny, telling her to get ready as we had a lot to get done today, she wakes up rubbing her eyes and groaning, obviously not wanting to get up.
"Jenny please get up and ready, we need to buy furniture and go food shopping, as well as the necessary things we may need."
I beg her, just wanting everything done as quickly as possible.
"Fine! I'm up, I'll be ready in about 20 mins"
Just like that, she bounces out of her bed and makes her way to he own en-suite, I decide to wait in the kitchen while she makes herself look presentable.
While waiting I check my social media until Jenny is ready.
Twenty minuets later Jenny walks into the kitchen waring leggings and an over sized sweater.
"You ready?" I ask her rising my brow.
"Lets go!" She smirks. We walk out of the door locking it on the way out.
"We'll grab a bite to eat before we begin our mission" Jenny suggests while slinging her bag over her shoulder.
"Sure, sounds like a plan" I reply, pushing my set of keys in my pocket, while walking to catch up with her.
We make our way to a cafe thats close to our appartment, sitting down and looking at the menu.
All it takes is one look at the menu before Jenny starts complaining.
"Damn Yuna! I can't read a damn thing " She exclaims "Help me please I need food"
I look up from my own menu and smirk at her before agreeing to help her.
"Sure, give me an idea of what you would like to eat" I say looking back down at the menu, scanning it to find a dish she may like.
Once we order and then eat our breakfast we pay and leave to start furniture shopping.
"Should we try and get everything from here and enquire about same day delivery" I ask as I look around, liking all that I see and hoping to shorten this shopping trip as much as I dare.
"As much as I love to shop I think that is our best bet" Jenny agrees.
We both walk around the store for quite some time deliberating together and making final decisions.
Once done there, we then finally leave to find a supermarket grabbing what we need and making our way back home in a taxi.
