Nineteen

You are rudely awakened by your older brother shaking you violently. You sit up as he slams the paper in your lap. Cole points at the headline.

'The (Y/L/N) Company Hatred Has Turned Into A Crisis!!'

You continue to under the headline.

'On our last paper, we covered the partnership the (y/l/n) company made. Earl Cole (y/l/n)'s sister, Lady (y/n) (y/l/n), wrote to us in a letter. She told us that her brother has gone insane and that the deal made with the puppeteer was that if Earl (y/l/n) agreed to keeping the partnership, then the puppeteer would make Lady (y/l/n) into a living doll. Lady (y/n) also told us that he was going to keep the deal because Earl Cole did not want to loose her to two killers that have killed their parents and their little sister, Lady Lucy (y/l/n). Updates on this story will be in this paper.'

You stare at the paper remembering the letter you sent to the newspaper. You look at Cole, he is furious with you. "Well, what else was I supposed to do at the time Cole? Just let you make me into a doll? I needed to find some help," you explain to your brother.

Cole's angry expression suddenly changes into a pitiful expression. He looks down at his feet with nothing else to say. You begin to feel bad for him, "Here, I will write a letter to the paper saying that you have decided to break the deal and that you are now sane. They will understand, write an article about it, and then back off of us."

Cole brightens up a little, "Thanks sissy."

​"Its nothing," you fake a smile.

Cole leaves and Jiana enters with a cup of tea. She dresses you in this dress (A/N: just change the red to your favorite color if it already isn't. I'm so tired of describing dresses for now). Jiana does your hair like this and then does your make up. She leaves you alone afterwards.

You walk into the study and sit at the desk. You grab a piece of paper, a feather pen, and an ink jar. You dip the feather pen into the ink and begin to write to the newspaper.

'Dear newspaper,

My elder brother, Earl Cole (y/l/n), has broke the deal and has regained his sanity. I am no longer going to be made into a doll and Earl (y/l/n) is breaking the partnership with the puppeteer. Also, I strongly believe that the puppeteer is the one responsible for all the missing young girls.

Lady (y/n) (y/l/n)'

You fold the paper into thirds and seal the letter with your family's stamp. You think about the case of the missing young girls. Maybe if you ask the queen then you could investigate it. You have never been assigned to a real investigation before, but you are good at investigating.

You grab another piece of paper and dip the feather pen in the ink jar.

'Dear Queen Victoria,

I am writing to you about the young girls that are disappearing. I have a great lead about who is taking them. You may put me on the case if you would like. I would be glad to help. If not, I can write to you the information I already know.

Also, I have been told about my mother and how she is your granddaughter. Any choice made for my fate, I will accept it. I cannot deny it anyway. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, Queen Victoria.

Lady (y/n) (y/l/n)'

You do what you did with the last letter, fold it into thirds and then place your family stamp on it to seal it. You put the letter on top of the other one, "Todd."

Todd walks into the study, "Yes m'lady."

"Take these letters to the post office immediately," you order him.

"Yes Lady (y/n)," Todd smiles and takes the letters. He leaves quickly. You get up and walk into the dining room. Ciel and Cole are speaking with each other, but stop once you walk in. You look questioningly at the two as you take your seat.

Annabelle walks into the room with breakfast. She has whip marks all over her. It was her punishment for last night. Annabelle gives everyone their food and whispers in your ear, "Have a nice meal Lady (y/n). I hope you choke on your meal and die." You slap her and she walks out.

Jiana walks into the room and stands behind you, like how Sebastian does with Ciel and how Harold does with Cole. Harold is covered in while marks too. He also recieved punishment. Wait, why isn't Jerrod behind you? He is usually the one following you around.

You brush away the thought of Jerrod not being there. He is probably getting some pain from when he was stabbed. Jerrod may heal quickly, but he still received a little sharp pain after.

*time skip*

You are walking around the garden with Ciel. Cole couldn't join you two because his chest is causing him pain. Jiana and Sebastian are behind you and Ciel. "I love your garden, Lady (y/n). It is beautiful," he tells you.

You look around a bit. "Thank you Earl Ciel. Your garden is much better though," you sigh, "I am sorry about the poor hospitality, we could do so much better than this."

Ciel looks at you, "Oh. There is no need to apologize about the hospitality. It is great."

You fake a smile, "If you had only visited when my parents and Lucy were still here. They would really make your stay more enjoyable."

"I bet. They seemed really fun and nice," he says, "It is such a shame that they had to go."

Suddenly you notice someone with a black cloak over by the fountain. They throw something into it and then run off. You begin to walk over to the fountain. The water goes from a crystal blue to a crimson red as you approach it. Once it does this you run to it, Ciel, Jiana, and Sebastian close behind you.

You look into the fountain and see Lucy's dead body, floating in the water. You scream at the sight of her ripped open stomach and floating bones. You hear the man singing the song.

'Your skeleton forgot to bring its backbone. Next time pack it in your body bag. Your skeleton forgot to bring its backbone. your broken ribs are cracking me up.'

Scenes of your sister's death pop into your head. Ciel notices your dizziness and helps you stand. Jiana gets Lucy's body out of the fountain. Tears fall from your eyes and Ciel quickly whiles them away. Cole runs outside to the scene, not caring about his condition. Tears flood his eyes as he sees his little sister in Jiana's arms.

You fall from Ciel's grip. He sits next to you on the ground. Jerrod finally shows up. He takes Lucy into his arms and carries her away. Hope hops over to you and rubs on your leg. You slowly and weakly pet her. Ciel holds you in his arms. ​Sebastian is trying to keep his composure while Hope is there. Jiana hangs her head.
