So you've wandered into the strange corner of the internet that is this novella, huh? Well, I'm going to warn you now that this isn't going to be for everyone.
For starters, everything in this story is completely, 100%, comprised of real-life events. I'm writing out my life in black and white and changing all the names as I do so (I know, this could get confusing for me). However, that means that there's going to be some stuff in here that won't be suitable for all.
There have been things in my life that I feel as though I need to disclose now - are not in any way for those who are not adept at dealing with other people's trauma. There have been events that have scarred me forever, and whilst I am not ashamed of my past, I understand it should really come with a trigger warning. I'll make sure to note at the beginning of each new part exactly which bits should be read with caution.
But, it really has all happened. And, I'm the living proof that it all turns out okay.
