Hoseok is a normal 6-year-old boy. He lives a normal life with normal parents, but there is one special thing about him, he likes boys or more specifically his best friend Yoongi. The boys usually play with each other like normal kids in front of their parents but behind closed doors, they kiss each other to show affection but only quick pecks on the lips.

They have even promised each other to get married one day. Hoseok haven't told his parents about his love for Yoongi yet and he's scared off telling them, he envies Yoong because Yoongi isn't scared to tell his dad's about it.

The day had come, Hoseok had mustered up the courage to tell his parents about his feelings. They sat down and when Hoseok had told them about it they looked disgusted. They looked at each other trying to figure out what to do with the boy.

Hoseoks dad grabbed his wrist and dragged him down to the basement.

"You can sit here and wait until we know what to do with you, we do not accept fags in this household." he hissed.

And that was the start of the abuse.

Soon Hoseok started hating being gay and other gay people except for Yoongi, he could never hate Yoongi. Hoseok still had strong feelings for Yoongi but tried to push his feelings away.

Present

Third person POV

Hoseok and Yoongi were sitting under a cherry blossom tree. They watched as the clouds passed by.

"Hoseok?" Yoongi whispers while he leans on the other boy.

"Mhm?" Hoseok hummed.

"Do you remember when we promised that we would get married? it was here we made that promise."

Hoseok stiffens.

"What are you talking about?" Hoseok says, looking at anything but Yoongi. Yoongi frowns and sits back up to look at Hoseok.

"Don't tell me you forgot that!" he says pouting a bit.

"It's just a stupid promise we made when we were kids, those don't mean anything," Hoseok says while crossing his arms.

"I was kinda hoping that-"

"That what? Where are you hoping that we could get married? Gay marriage is bullshit, that's why it's fucking illegal!" Hoseok says in an angry tone.

He looks at Yoongi who has a hurt expression on his face. Suddenly he regrets everything he just said. It was like his father just possessed him or something.

Suddenly Yoongi stands up and looks down at the other boy.

"What happened to you? You used to love me, now you barely even look at me! You liked to be with my dads but now you look at them weirdly and just walk past them without saying hello." Yoongi was in tears now.

"Being gay is weird." Hoseok randomly says. Yoongi looked at him with tired eyes.

"You're just too much sometimes."

"And you are to gay all the time." Hoseok almost slaps himself. It was like he was programmed to say these things about gay people, but then again he was, well kinda.

"It feels like you don't even wanna be my friend anymore," Yoongi says while tears run down his face.

"Maybe I just need some alone time?" Hoseok says.

"If it is what the prince wants then so be it."

"Wai-"

"I won't bother you anymore," Yoongi said turning around walking away not even looking back once. Hoseok stands there stunned thinking about what he had done.
