nail polish

Hoseok stared at the wide arrangement of nail polish, trying to find a specific color, and at last, he found the pastel purple nail polish. A small grin spread across his face as he grabbed the small container. He glanced over to where his best friend, Jimin was standing, looking at some shampoo. 

He turned towards the counter, stopping immediately when he saw a boy, a cute boy, around his age standing behind the register, looking quite bored. Hoseok just kinda stood there, not knowing what to do. Contemplating whether or not to buy the nail polish now. He sighed. Of course, he could just chicken out, but what's the fun in that?  He shook his head and started to make his way towards the counter.

When he reached the counter, the boy looked up. Hoseok froze, the boy's eyes were shaped like a cat's and they were staring right at him. "Wanna pay for that?" the boy asked, his grey hair partially covering his eyes. Hoseok placed the nail polish on the counter and took out his wallet and, pulled out the money needed. The boy had already scanned the item waiting for him to give him the money.  

He gave the boy the money, and the boy gave him his change back. "Do you want a bag?" he asked, looking at Hoseok. Hoseok just shook his head quickly and grabbing the little nail polish container and doing the most embarrassing thing, he finger gunned the boy behind the counter and laughed awkwardly. "See ya later, alligator!" and just bolted out the store after grabbing Jimin by his arm. The two made their way out of the mall and towards Jimin's car. 

"May I ask what the hell happened!?" Jimin asked. Hoseok sighed and let go of Jimin's arm. "I did  the most stupid thing!" Hoseok exclaimed. "Omg. what. did. you. do?" Jimin said, becoming irritated. "I fucking finger gunned the cute cashier, and said 'see you later, alligator'!" Hoseok said getting into the passenger seat in the car. Jimin stood there, trying not to laugh. Hoseok rolled the window down and hissed, "Get in!" and rolled the window up again. Jimin shook his head and got into the car and drove home to their shared apartment.

The next day Hoseok had work. He groaned and got ready. He worked at the same mall where he met the cute boy. But what he didn't know that the two shops where right opposite to each other.

The day was going smoothly for Hoseok until the cute boy with grey hair walked into the store and looked around. Hoseok watched as the boy made his way over to a shelf that was displaying the headphones. He picked a pair of basic white headphones and made his way towards the counter. 

He looked up at Hoseok, and a playful little smile appeared on his face. "Well, hello there!" he said. Hoseok couldn't help but notice that the boy was shorter than him which was adorable in his opinion. "Hi, just that?" he asked pointing at the headphones. "Um, actually, I want one other thing." he said, smiling slyly. "What?" Hoseok said, tilting his head to the side. "I wanna know your name, cutie." the boy said grinning. Hoseok smiled a little. "U-um Hoseok." he said, reaching over to take the package and scanning it. 

Hoseok looked up and gave him the package. "What's yours? Shorty." he said teasingly. The other boy huffed and crossed his arms but still smiling. "Yoongi." he said. Yoongi paid for the headphones. They talked for a bit before Yoongi needed to leave. Yoongi started to walk away before he turned around again. "See ya later...aligator!" he said pulling two quick finger guns at Hoseok, who just laughed, embarrassed. 

"See you later!"

(a/n: i'm back, have been sick for a while and u had no insperation and i kinda left the bts shipping phase?? but i still think it's fun to write about these two dorks lol. school has been a pain.
