Chapter 22

*Elexis POV*

[Day 4]

I waited for mom outside the house, since we agreed to visit a boutique.

Mina suddenly went out and run to me.

"Brother!" she called.

I hurriedly carried her and she sweetly give me some kisses.

"Did you get a good sleep?"

"Yeap! And, I had a nice dream about you" she said.

I smiled at her.

"I heard that you'll be meeting with your girlfriend-to-be" she added.

I just laugh at what she said..

"Mina, who told you that?" I asked her.

"Mom did, she was excited for you to meet your future girlfriend" she replied.

Mom suddenly came together with Hannah.

"Were ready to go" Mom said.

"Wait, are you all going with me?" I asked.

Well, its awkward for me to be with almost 3 ladies of my life while I'm the only guy.

"Don't worry, no one suspects you as a gay... You're very handsome my brother" Hannah told me as she ride on the car.

"I didn't say something, how dare you call me as a gay?"

I replied as I get onto the driver's seat.

I drive going to the newest boutique but I got surprised on what I just saw on the boutique's name.

"Clarke Abel Clotique?" I said.

"Yes, this is it Elexis" Mom said.

We all got down on the car and enter the shop.

"Good day and Welcome to Clarke Abel Clotique" the staffs greeted.

"Good day also" Mom replied to them.

Hannah went beside me..

"Didn't you know that the owner of this shop will be Mom's girl for you?"

she teased me.

I look at her, and she just laugh at me.

"Seriously? Hannah, I'm not that eager to find a girlfriend" I said.

"But brother, this time.. All you need is love! You're being tired of those hopeless job opportunities because you're the heir of Dad's company" she said.

"What do you know about love, Hannah?"

I asked her as I seat on the beanbag.

"Many.. I know many things about love and what it can do"

I heard a different voice, and when I look at that woman who spoke up, it was Abelia.

"Abelia...?"

"Now you already remember me" she said.

Mom suddenly interfered and she greeted Abelia.

"Oh there you are, Darling" Mom said.

Abelia look at Mom and they hug each other.

"Thank you for visiting here" Abelia said.

"It's nothing.."

Mom look at her proudly, and its like that she's one of her own child.

"You're really such a wonderful woman" Mom praised her.

The smile from Abelia slowly fades a bit, it looks like that there's something wrong on what Mom said.

"Uhm, do you want to try our new designs?" she suddenly asked.

"Oh sure" Hannah replied.

"Please come this way... I'll show you everything that we have" she said.

Before they leave going to the clothing lines, Abelia gave me a look of worriedness and walk away.

There's something suspicious onto Abelia.

Lunch time came and Mom decided to buy some of the newest designs.

"Thank you so much for visiting here" Abelia said.

"You're very welcome" Mom said.

I took the shopping bags and put it to the car, then I saw another car that was quite familiar. Mom followed up onto me.

"Oh, there's our car..." Mom said.

"Wait, what? This is where we ride on"

I told her.

"I know, but you'll be having a date with Abelia" she added.

"Date with her? No!" I rejected.

"Elexis! I thought we're done about this and you agreed"

"Yes, but I didn't know that she's my date and in the first place Mom, it's not today" I said.

"Its still the same, son.." she replied.

Then, she went to the other car followed by Hannah and Mina. Our family driver came to get the shopping bags too.

"Goodluck on your date, Elexis"

teased Hannah.

"Goodluck brother" Mina added.

I just stare at them while the car was driven away.

I shouldn't have really come with them...
