I wake up in a tangle of soft light violet sheets. Wait, these aren’t my sheets. In my newly awoken state it takes me a second to realize that these, are indeed, not my sheets. They’re Heather’s sheets. I can tell because they smell like her rose and lilac perfume.

Her bedroom door creaks open and she steps through it only covered in a white towel. She’s attempting to be quiet, but the wooden floor creaks as she leaves a trail of water droplets leading to her grey dresser.

“You should wear that more often,” I say propping myself up to set a better look at her neverending legs.

She turns to face me and smiles, “Good morning to you too.” she goes back to her dresser and begins rummaging in her drawers, “What time is your assistant supposed to be here to drop off your clothes?”

“Six fifteen,” I respond.

I hear the doorbell ring in the distance and Heather tosses a black t shirts and a pair of shorts at me, “That must be her.”

I slip on the clothes and walk over to Heather to plant a kiss on her cheek, “I’ll be right back.” She smiles and there is a light knock at the door. Before I know it we’re face to face with my assistant, Taylor. “Nevermind,” I say.

My assistant Taylor is a God send. If I had to keep up with all of the random tasks I was given by production, workouts, and school work by myself, I would have quickly crashed and burned. She is organized and extremely punctual. Not to mention she can get any task done, even with short notice.

Taylor blushes, “Did I interrupt something?”

Heather shakes her head, “No, please come in.”

Taylor follows Heather’s directions and tentatively walks into the room, “Thank you. Elizabeth, I have your clothes and your ride will be here in forty four minutes.” She holds out a blue tote bag and a black garment bag with my name on it, “Wear the work out clothes first and then change into clothes in the garment bag for the interview. I also took the liberty of packing travel sizes of your body wash and hair products.”

I take the bag and smile, “Thank you that was very thoughtful.”

“Do you need anything else?”

I shake my head, “No, I think I have everything else I need.”

Taylor rolls her dark brown eyes, “No you don’t.”  I look at her skeptically, “I went by Garden Grove and picked up breakfast for you and Heather. Your containers are labeled. There is also extra food for your castmates if they are hungry when they get here,” Taylor glances at her watch and her eyes grow wide, “They should be here in thirty minutes and I need to leave so I can make it to LA in time to handle some things. I will see you around one for your lunch break. Do you want a burrito or thai food?”

“Burrito.”

Taylor makes a quick note in her phone and smiles, “Sorry again for ruining your moment I will leave you two alone. Goodbye Elizabeth.”

“Once again you didn’t ruin anything and goodbye Taylor.”

Within twenty five minutes I’m showered and dressed, my teeth are brushed and I’ve scarfed down a fancy looking mini frittata thingy. Now Heather and I are snuggling on her couch watching Good Morning LA. Well, it’s more like the newz is playing in the background and I am paying more attention to Heather than the hosts.

I’ve been playing with the little purple waves that have fallen from her messy bun. She hates when there are too many tendrils out of place but I love it when her hair gets a little unruly. The messy bits give her iconic hair more character when it’s lifted off of her shoulders.
