The carriage was moving at a snail's pace, I could feel every little rock under it. I sat on the floor of the carriage, my legs hanging off the edge and my arms crossed. The humming of the girl in the carriage echoed in my ears, I closed my eyes tightly and began to grind my teeth, the annoying noise carrying on. I felt eyes on me. The humming grew louder, I opened my eyes and turned around "Could you shut the hell up? I'm trying to concentrate!" I yelled. For my words, I was rewarded with being kicked out of the carriage. I fell onto my face, but I picked myself up quickly, dusting the dirt off of my bare chest. I stood, the clanging of the steel and iron on my legs, the entire bottom half of my body being covered completely in armor, no sign of flesh, the only thing being worn on my upper body is a black and red scarf and two necklaces, one being the symbol of our group, an X with a sword through the middle. The other necklace is a small chunk of a ruby.
Another somewhat older man stood and leaned out of the cart "If you want to ride in the cart, you need to learn how to get along with everyone, Infer" he said hatefully.
He was dressed similarly, but he wore a short black vest with brown lining and baggy black pants that cut off at his ankle and sandals, and a bracelet with a small chunk of Onyx. I jumped up and followed the carriage "Well, excuse me if I'm trying to work on my summonings Geok, I can't concentrate with her blasted humming" I retorted hatefully.
He jumped out of the carriage and crossed his arms, standing in front of me and preventing me from going any further "I told you four days ago, if you want to be apart of this Guild, you have to learn to play nice" he said, repeating himself, moving his hand to push back his dirt brown hair, his matching eyes staring down at me. I narrowed my eyes and stepped past him, but he placed his foot out and swept my leg, sending me to the ground. I hit something on the ground, it felt like a rock, I groaned and rolled onto my stomach and stood up, getting close to Geok. His brown eyes looking down at me "Either walk and keep your attitude or get on the carriage and lose it" he demanded. I growled and stepped past him and sat back in my spot at the edge of the carriage, crossing my legs and arms, and closing my eyes. I heard Geox chuckle and climb into the carriage. I felt someone poke me. I turned and I saw the girl that was humming looked down at me with an annoyed smirk "If you want me to quiet down, you can just ask" she said sweetly. I stood and held the top of the carriage "If I want you to shut up, I'll tell you to shut up" I said in the same tone as before.
History repeated itself, I was kicked out of the carriage. I fell hard and groaned. She stood and crossed her arms, her blue hair in pigtails on the side of her head, even her attire was annoying. She wore a blue bra with the X and sword on the right, a pair of black shorts with a large cloth that she wrapped and tied around her waist, it covered her left leg but revealed her right. She was barefoot but wore an anklet on her right ankle, it had various shiny gemstones. She also wore a chunk of sapphire on a ring, on her left hand.
I narrowed my eyes at her and followed close behind the carriage, she narrowed her eyes at me "Just because you joined us doesn't mean you're the strongest or you can be a jerk to everyone you meet" she barked. I crossed my arms and said nothing. Geox chimed in "Isla is right. We wanted you to come with us, and you agreed, we want to all get along but you seem to be against us as much as you're with us" he yelled. I gruffed and looked past the cart, and the city came into my view.
Connam, the large tower was proof, it was the very heart, soul, and symbol of the city, the tower reached the skies and almost touched it. I started to speed up and go ahead of the carriage "Hey, where are you going?" Geok asked, looking out to me. I looked back and responded, "I'm going ahead to find some food," I said with the attitude. I could hear him start to yell and curse at me, but I got so far away that I could barely make it out. I wanted to look back, but I was at risk of making eye contact with our leader, and she was really scary.
