Alister sat down looking out at the broken castle pieces in the distance. A frown played on his face as Minnie took a seat next to him.

"Okay spill" she said.

"What?"

"You've been way too quiet during the last three days is it cause Anthony gave up after one night in the woods"

Alister snorted as he recalled his brother crying about sleeping on the ground and being around mud. Anthony had turned back the next morning. However he knew he didn't care about that.

"Or is it because of little miss red?"

Alister flinched causing Minnie to laugh  loudly.

"I knew it! You're sad shes gone! How sweet"

"I don't deserve to be sad about that"

Minnie tilted her head as Alister wasn't sure why he was telling her this. He figured it didn't matter after all of this.

"I tortured her, I was so cruel to her that I can't be sad I won't see her again"

"You could"

"After this mission it's impossible"

"Well why did you bully her then?"

Alister frowned as he leaned back thinking all the way back to the first time he seen Crimson. She was only six and he was only seven but he watched as she scared off the young Harry Hook from harming Evie. Of course Harry Hook was a terrifying vk now but to see Crimson, who's mother was cruel to anyone, just willingly help someone and try to make them laugh...he never saw anything like that before. It was the light his mother would whisper to him about so his grandmother wouldn't hear. Something his grandmother told him never existed. He didn't like how it made him feel at the time so he called her names and kicked her seat in class. However, as they got older he never let anyone else hurt her. He gave away his grandmother's favorite tea cup so Uma would keep her gang away from terrorizing Crimson. He tried to fight the Gaston twins to stop them from going into her mother's shop to destroy her only books. Of course he lost but the twins did leave Crimson alone at least. He tried so hard to keep everyone else from hurting her, but then just to cover it up he'd hurt her. He had wronged the only person besides his mother he wanted to smile. Why? Why??

"Honestly...I don't understand why" he whispered softly as thunder roared like a lion in the sky above.
