The room was quite fancy with tall book shelves and expensive computers.

I was surrounded by tall white walls. But To my surprise no frames or pictures hung from them.

Giant glass windows shined rays of light from every side .

Making the room illuminated .

The glass looked like they were cleaned every second , You couldn't even spot a dead fly on them !

I giggled a little .

As I walked closer to the window I could look over the whole city. It was beautiful .

When I was younger ,I loved going sight seeing.

My mom would hold me tightly as I always liked standing in the very tip of the balcony.

It was the only time I spent with my mom .

She was always so busy with work and saving money for my future we never had time to see each other .

Maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much.

I valued that moment as I grew in love with it, but so by the scene .

Everything seem so small from up here. And I guess that's the whole point.

That's why all business man and woman have the reputation of always felling higher then the regular blue collar civilians .

Because they literally are 17 floors higher .

But I was no civilian now, I was one of them looking out threw the same window.

And the feeling I got was invincible .

As I stood there watching over the city I could feel somebody opening the door. Struggling with the knob.

I guess I was so distracted by the busy streets and lights that I didn't even bother looking back .

And suddenly I here someone's voice :

"Isn't beautiful ?" he whispered being careful not to interrupt my view.

I turned around slowly and looked at him.

He was a short round bellied man , he looked like the Santa Claus. I though.

"Now I know you weren't expecting your grandpa to walk in here! " He laughed.

"But I just didn't want to interrupt you!" he cheerfully said rite after..

I didn't know what to say or do.

So i Just stretched out my hand introducing myself :

"Hi my names Mandy!"

"There's no need to be nervous , I meet great people like you everyday and I get the same reaction all the time ."

He then laid his briefcase down on one of the chairs that were by the door and continued to talk cheerfully.

"Is my friendliness that intimidating !."

He then bursted out with a loud laughed. This time he really looked and sounded like Santa Claus .

He then wobbled over to his chair. As he threw himself heavily down.

I could here him squeezing the air out of the cushing . Poor chair I though.

I giggled a little.

I felt intimidated.. Well maybe shocked would be a better word .

Because there's nothing worst then expecting something you weren't ready for.

I have prepared myself for this moment and I always trained to resist pressure and intimidation ,business agents are very straight forward with no humor ,what so ever .

I was so focused on that stereotype that I completely avoided this situation.

My only option was to be myself.

And hope that would be enough .
