Minghao slammed the front door of his house, and his mom was actually there. "Oh, Minghao, I need to talk to you-"
"Not now mom..." He replied softly, slowly making his way upstairs. "But its important--" His mom said, smiling a bit. Minghao gave her a side look, and then ran into his room, locking the door.
He threw himself on his bed and cried. Cried like there was no end. The one he loved for so long, was leaving him. He didn't know when or if Jun would return, but he was sure Jun would've moved on by then.
Minghao soon stopped crying, and his mom knocked at his door. "Minghao, let me in please." She called. Minghao sighed and unlocked the door.
He felt like crying again when his mom held her arms open. He immediately rushed into them and cried even more. "You can always tell me if there's anything wrong with you, even if I'm not around much. I still love you and you are my son. Tell me what's wrong Ming.."
Minghao sighed. He then told his mom everything from the beginning.
"Oh... I'm so sorry... But Minghao, I was going to do the same thing.."
"What thing?" Minghao furrowed his eyebrows.
"Send you abroad for studies..."
Minghao FROZE.
This can't be happening...
He thought.
But there was nothing he could do now. He had to say goodbye to his friends and everything. Even Jun.
"To where?" He asked, voice shaking. "America. You have to start improving on your English, you leave in two weeks if you're going." Minghao looked down.
Jun would already be gone..
He looked up into his mom's eyes. "I'll go..." He said, more like a whisper. He turned around slowly.
He closed the door slowly, giving eye contact to his mom once more before closing the door completely.
He quickly grabbed his phone and entered his group chat.
