A closeted witch is a witch that hasn't yet revealed the fact that their a witch to their family, friends, etc. A lot of witches are in the broom closet. It's hard. Believe me. You can check YouTube for information and stuff on closeted witchcraft. Here's some tips and tricks for being in the broom closet.

Hidden places for sigils:

Under your phone case
In your wallet
Behind your watch
Hidden on your skin
On your cosmetics
In your notebooks
On your water bottle
In a nail polish design
Written on tags of clothing
On a keychain

Tips:

If you have a wand just say it's from a tv show
If you have a lot of witchy decor say you like the theme, aesthetic, or it's from a tv show/ movie
If you have witchy books say it's for a project, story, etc
If you want a familiar say you want a pet
Make your room an altar and have an item representing elements at each direction
Have a 9 cube as your altar
If you want plants just say you want it for a theme, aesthetic, decorations
Wait till your home alone to do rituals/spells if it's too noisy and someone won't disturb you
Keep your book of shadows as a regular notebook or on your phone/tablet
If you want crystals say you like the way they look
Put all of your witchcraft stuff in a box under your bed or in your closet
If your meditating say you want to improve your health
Use everyday items for witchcraft, like a pencil for a wand
Paint a sigil for beauty on your face with foundation before blending it into your skin.
Stir a sigil or your intention into a cup of coffee and drink to experience the results.
Charge water in a windowsill and use for anointing candles, doorways, or cleansing spaces by sprinkling a few drops.
Research popular beliefs / superstitions that you can co-opt into spells - think sprinkling some salt.
Learn to read playing cards - people will assume you're playing some kind of solo game.
Make use of meditation as a time to practice and ground.
Go out into nature and make use of your time with the wise old trees and friendly squirrels.
Explore kitchen witchery and herblore as mundane-friendly practice methods.
Use art as a mode of practicing. Paint sigils into your work, create images in place of an altar, and draw your intentions into being.
Don't forget that you don't need fancy tools or physical objects to practice. You just need focus and a creativity. Just be yourself. Do what you want.
Travel altars can be small so if you can't practice in the house you can use the travel altar and hide it in a hide-a-way book or a backpack.
Your altar can be on your phone. This way you can always have it with you. It can be your wallpaper.
You can scry using your smartphone. The black screen when it's in sleep mode acts as a black mirror.
Use playing cards to substitute as tarot cards.
Hide your BOS in a bookshelf, drawer, or anyplace discrete.
Use a composition notebook for your BOS, or a digital version.
Hide your witchcraft in a box under your bed.
Keep your altar in a box, or a pocket version.
Wait until everyone is out of the house or asleep until you cast a spell or do a ritual so there's no interruptions.
Use witchy stuff for decor.
Use a necklace as a pendulum.
Go to a different location to cast a spell.
Keep your pocket altar in your backpack.
Practice witchcraft out of the house, like on the way home.
Use fast burning candles.

Excuses:

"Oh it's aesthetically pleasing."
"I like it."
"My friend gave it to me."
"It seemed interesting."
"My friend said it was cool."
"It's a decoration."
"Why not?"
"Everyone does it." (Like meditation)
"It's a poem." (For spells)
"My room smells." (For incense/candles)
