What is an altar?

An altar is used to help set your focus and intent for rituals, ceremonies, and spell castings. It should be a sacred space you feel comfortable and relaxed in. It holds all your ritual tools and decor.

You can have a permanent altar that stays up year round or a seasonal one that changes as the seasons change. You can add anything you want to your altar. It's your choice.

Some witches even have altars dedicated to the elements, or their specific craft. Ex. a sea witch having seashells, starfish, etc.
