Flashing lights and loud booming music. Beautiful women on the dance floor are moving their perfect figures in sexy rhythm. It's a perfect place for a hunt. Hak Yeon looks around and seeks for the most tasty prey. There are a lot of pretty girls, many of them a little bit tipsy, with their heads light from alcohol. His eyes are checking them out, searching for their weak points. This one has frightened eyes, she lacks a self-esteem. This one prefers older men - father issues. This one is drinking too much and expressing a cheerful mood - she broke up with a boyfriend and wants to persuade the world she's okay even though she's hurt. This one flirts with multiple guys, yet keeping her distance and gives side looks to other women - she tries to hide her true sexuality. Hak Yeon sighs. Why does his brain do this all the time? Analyzing the women, giving him secret details about their insecurities? Hak Yeon strides through the club blindly. Suddenly he feels a cold liquid soaking into his black shirt. One of the women just spilt her drink on him. She is pretty and cute, she keeps apologizing to him, waving with her long beautiful lashes. She's trying to dry the stain with a paper napkin, pressing his chest a little bit too diligently. Hak Yeon smiles and assures her that nothing happened, takes her hand holding a napkin and makes an eye contact. She blinks quickly. Her eyes seem to be a little bit veiled by the alcohol, her pupils are wide, she stutters a little bit and goes silent with her pink wet lips apart. He can smell a sweet scent of her breath. Her cheeks and ears go red. She is young and fresh like a rose bud. Her complexion is fair and flawless. Hak Yeon checks the rest of her quickly - slender and flexible figure, gentle breasts, long legs. She is wearing a revealing top and tight black denim shorts. She came here to have fun, she is confident about her looks but little bit unexperienced. Maybe she dated only her college friends in the past and doesn't quite know how to gain guy's attention in the club. Well, she gets my attention, thinks Hak Yeon for himself. He states some lame joke and she laughs. Her laugh matches with her personality - cute and careless, the type of a laugh young people have before the life robs them of their illusions. She can't be much older than 21. Hak Yeon offers buying a new drink for her. She politely dodges eyes and mildly refuses. Hak Yeon wraps his tanned fingers around her gentle wrist and pulls her to the bar, telling he insists on in. He catches a glimpse of her making an excited winner gesture to her girlfriends. He orders two drinks and asks her about universal topics to build a trust in her making her believe that he cares for all the pesky little things like what is her major subject at the college or what was the name of her cat when she was a child. Hak Yeon follows the standard list of questions and replies in his head, orders one drink after the other and noticing how she slowly leans closer to him, the frequency of 'accidental' touches is rising. Her skin is soft and warm and getting even warmer as the evening goes on. At one point Hak Yeon leans to her ear and whispers an offer. He offers her to continue in their talking in somewhere more quiet. Are her dorms nearby? Hak Yeon listens to her breath getting faster. She nods and smiles at him. They leave the club together, get a cab and soon they are in her small bedroom in the dorms. She obviously shares the room with other two girls. She is whispering to him, that her roommates will come in several hours. That's plenty of time, assures her Hak Yeon. He strokes her cheeks and feels the slight shiver of her body under his fingertips. She is nervous and excited. Hak Yeon makes sure he doesn't rush things up. He hates when they start to freak out, it really annoys him. He leans to her and breathes on her lips. She stays still like a marble statue. Hak Yeon sighs in his head. Another passive and shy girl. Okay, let's heat the things up. Hak Yeon presses his lips against hers. They are soft but firmly closed. He can't accept that. It's time to make her more open in every way. Hak Yeon knows this game well, he's excellent at it. Press a little bit more here and there, a little stroke, squeeze, hug... Soon she is more than willing to do anything for him.

Hak Yeon pulls his trousers on and starts to button up his shirt. The girl is soundly sleeping in bed, her hair spread all over the pillow, her skin still pink and heating. Hak Yeon looks around and finds a sticky note pad. He scribbles a quick note for her and leaves the room. He walks through darken quiet corridor, his steps sounding on the old linoleum. He walks out of the building and wonders about calling a cab. It's warm and starry night, he decides to have a walk to his apartment. It's not far.
Hak Yeon feels physically relieved. His body is relaxed and there is no tension in muscles. However his mind is in disorder again. Why does this keep happening to him? Why can't he find a peace of mind? Why is it always so... so... plain? Why do all his intercourses lack that something that turns the physical act into a mind blowing and breath taking roller coaster of emotions? Why doesn't he feel happy, excited and lightheaded? He keeps searching a woman who would make him want to stay with her till the morning comes and failing epically at it. He met so many women, each one of them was different than the previous one, yet the outcome is always the same - frustration, boredom and dissatisfaction. None of them seems to be able to reach his soul. There must be something wrong about him. Maybe he's not capable of forming that kind of emotional bond and is doomed to live his life and never 'make love'. Hak Yeon sighs and runs fingers through his hair. He would cry over it but that would be self-pity and he's better than that. He simply arrives home, takes a shower and goes sleep.
